Zhuangjia Zhuang Folk Art Museum Introduction
The museum is the result of over 40 years of collection by local resident Zhuang Zhengyi, focusing on the folk artifacts of Penghu. Inside the building, there are about a thousand daily-use items on display, including dining utensils, clothing, furniture, and means of transportation. The exhibition space, covering approximately 100 ping, includes a section for deities and a section for furniture embroidery. It features more than 200 deity sculptures from the outlying islands of Wang'an, Jibei, and Qimei; the furniture embroidery section showcases intricately carved red sleeping beds, a special bridal bed for ancient wealthy ladies, as well as collectibles like sword belts and embroidered shoes, all worth a visit.
