Zhuangjia Zhuang Folk Cultural Museum Introduction
The museum is a collection of local folk artifacts gathered by the Penghu resident Zhuang Zhengyi over the past forty years. Inside the building, approximately one thousand daily utensils are on display, including dining vessels, clothing, furniture, and transportation tools. The exhibition space, covering about 100 ping, includes areas for deities and furniture embroidery, showcasing over two hundred deity sculptures from the outlying islands of Wang-an, Jibei, and Qimei. The furniture embroidery area features exquisitely carved red sleeping beds, ancient bridal beds exclusive to the daughters of wealthy families, along with collectibles such as sword belts and embroidered shoes, all of which are well worth a visit.
