Zhuangjia Zhuang Folk Cultural Museum Introduction
The museum is the result of over forty years of collection by local resident Zhuang Zhengyi, focusing on indigenous folk artifacts from Penghu. Inside the building, approximately a thousand daily-use items are displayed, including dining utensils, clothing, furniture, and transportation tools. The exhibition space, covering about 100 ping, includes a section for religious statues and a furniture embroidery area, showcasing over two hundred religious sculptures from outlying islands such as Wang'an, Qimei, and Qimei; the furniture embroidery area features exquisitely carved red sleeping beds, the exclusive tooth beds for ancient wealthy young ladies, as well as collections such as sword belts and embroidered shoes, all of which are well worth a visit.
