Zhuangjia Zhuang Folk Culture Museum Introduction
The museum is the result of over forty years of collection of local folk artifacts by Penghu resident Zhuang Zhengyi. Inside the building, approximately a thousand daily-use items are displayed, including dining utensils, clothing, furniture, and transportation tools. The exhibition space of one hundred ping includes a deity statue area and a furniture embroidery area, showcasing more than two hundred deity sculptures from distant islands such as Wang-an, Jibei, and Qimei. The furniture embroidery area features intricately carved red sleeping beds, ancient bridal beds exclusive to daughters of wealthy families, as well as sword belts and embroidered shoes, all of which are well worth a visit.
