Hutoushan Introduction
Hutou Mountain is located in Qingsuo Village, Hushih Township, with an elevation of 29.47 meters. It is close to the coast and offers a view of the nearby scattered small islands, including Yuanbei Islet and Jishan Islet. The horizon merges with the sea, providing an expansive view. Nearby, there is also the historic Qixing Tower, which legend says was aligned according to the arrangement of the first seven stars seen in ancient times. The Yangming Miao Tower is the largest among the seven towers. It is said that during droughts, a certain plant was inserted into the tower, followed by incense burning to pray for rain, after which rain would soon fall in the Qingsuo area to alleviate the drought.
