Tiger Head Mountain Introduction
Hutoushan is located in Qingluo Village, Huxi Township, with an elevation of 29.47 meters. It is close to the coast and offers views of nearby scattered islets, including Yuanbei Islet and Jishan Islet, providing a wide panoramic view of the sea and sky. Nearby is the historic Qixing Pagoda, which is said to have been arranged according to the positions of the first seven stars seen in ancient times. The Yangming Pagoda is the largest of the Qixing Pagoda and is traditionally known to have been used to pray for rain during droughts by inserting a certain plant into the pagoda and then burning incense, after which rain would soon fall in the Qingluo area.
