Jiangjun Temple Introduction
Main deity: General Li Festival date: The birthday is on the 17th day of the 3rd lunar month, and the worship day is on the 1st day of the 3rd month. Located in the western part of Jiangjun village, it is also called "Xi Gong." According to the "Inscription for the Reconstruction of Jiangjun Temple," General Li was a loyal minister of the Ming Dynasty. In the 18th year of the Yongli era (1664), the spirit of General Li manifested greatly, personally selecting timber and a golden statue to be brought to the port (specifically the "General's Wharf" inside Jiangjun North Fishing Port). There are faint inscriptions of "General Li" on the timber, and the villagers, feeling his holy presence, immediately built the "Jiangjun Temple" to worship him with the wood.
