Jiangjun Temple Introduction
The main deity worshipped: General Li Festival date: The birthday is on the 17th of the lunar calendar, and the worship day is on the 1st of the 3rd lunar month. Located to the west of the village of Jiangjun, it is also known as "Xigong." According to the "Inscription of the Reconstruction of the General Temple," General Li was a loyal minister of the Ming Dynasty. In the 18th year of the Yongli reign (1664), the spirit of General Li manifested remarkably, personally fetching wood and a golden statue to the bay (specifically the inside of Jiangjun North Fishing Port, known as "Jiangjun Ye Hu"). The wood bore faint inscriptions of "General Li," and the villagers, feeling its divinity, immediately constructed the "General Temple" from that wood for veneration.
