General Temple Introduction
The main deity worshiped: General Li Festival date: the birthday is on the 17th day of the 3rd lunar month, while the festival day is on the 1st day of the 3rd month. Located in the western part of the village of Jiangjun, it is also known as "Xi Gong." According to the "Inscription of the Reconstruction and Completion of the Jiangjun Temple," General Li was a loyal minister of the Ming Dynasty. In the 18th year of the Yongli reign (1664), the spirit of General Li manifested significantly, and he personally selected the timber and golden statue to bring to the port (specifically the "Jiangjun Ye Hu" inside the Jiangjun North Fishing Port). The timber faintly bore the words "General Li," and the villagers, feeling the response from the divine, immediately built the "Jiangjun Temple" using that timber to venerate him.
