Jiangjun Temple Introduction
The main deity worshipped: General Li Festival Date: The birthday is on the 17th day of the third lunar month, and the ritual day is the 1st day of the third lunar month. Located to the west of the Jiangjun Village, it is also known as the "Western Palace." According to the "Stele Record of the Renovation of the Jiangjun Temple," General Li was a minister of the Ming Dynasty. In the 18th year of the Yongli era (1664), the spirit of General Li manifested greatly, personally selecting timber and a golden statue to be brought to the port (specifically to the "Jiangjun Ye Hu" inside the Jiangjun North Fishing Port). The timber faintly bore the characters "General Li," and the villagers, feeling his divine response, immediately used this timber to construct the "Jiangjun Temple" for worship.
