Jiangjun Temple Introduction
The main deity worshipped is General Li. The festival date is the 17th day of the 3rd lunar month for his birthday, and the worship day is the 1st day of the 3rd lunar month. Located to the west of the Jiangjun Village, it is also known as "West Palace." According to the inscription of the restoration of the Jiangjun Temple, General Li is a loyal minister of the Ming Dynasty. In the 18th year of the Yongli era (1664), General Li's spirit manifested and personally gathered timber and a golden statue at the "Jiangjun Yehu" (the inner side of Jiangjun North Fishing Port). The timber faintly bore the words "General Li," and the villagers, sensing his divine presence, immediately used the material to construct the "Jiangjun Temple" for veneration.
