Guanyin Temple Introduction
Main deity: Guanyin Bodhisattva Festival dates: Lunar February 19th, Lunar March 23rd Built in the seventh year of the Daoguang era of the Qing Dynasty (1827), this historic and uniquely shaped building often attracts visitors for photos. According to local residents, since the worship of the Bodhisattva, the sea has been plentiful, the stone weirs have yielded bountiful catches, the community has enjoyed peace throughout the year, with no disasters and celebrations during all festivals. As a result, it has become a center of religious faith in the area.
