Guanyin Temple Introduction
The main deity worshipped: Guanyin Bodhisattva Festival dates: Lunar February 19th, Lunar March 23rd Built in the seventh year of the Daoguang era of the Qing Dynasty (1827), this historic building with its unique design often attracts tourists for photography. According to local residents, since the worship of the Bodhisattva, the sea has been abundant with blessings, the stone weirs have yielded bountiful catches, the area has enjoyed peace, natural disasters have been absent throughout the year, and celebrations have been held during the eight festivals. The residents live in peace and happiness, making it a central place of religious faith in the area.
