Guanyin Temple Introduction
Main deity: Guanyin Bodhisattva Festival dates: Lunar February 19, Lunar March 23 Established in the seventh year of Daoguang during the Qing Dynasty (1827), this historic and uniquely designed building often attracts tourists for photos. According to local residents, since the worship of the Bodhisattva has brought blessings, the fishing yields from the stone fishery have been abundant, peace prevails in the area, disasters are rare throughout the year, celebrations occur during the eight festivals, and residents live in harmony and prosperity. Thus, it has become a central religious hub for the local community.
