Aimu Village Leisure and Tourism Factory Introduction

Step into the fairy tale world of the "Six Little Pigs." The story of the three little pigs has evolved into the six little pigs hidden within the alleys of Cultural Road at "Aimu Village." Guided by these pigs, visitors can experience a renewed fairy tale of Aimu Village—discovering the beautiful world of cypress wood. Aimu Village was formerly Shunyi Wood Industry, which has a history of half a century in Chiayi. When it was inherited by the second generation, the couple Yan Weide and his wife, in order to sustain the potential for wood development, continuously communicated with the elders at home. After starting with skepticism and misunderstanding, it took a full three years to gain recognition and affirmation for the birth of Aimu Village. Through this space, they hope to help more people understand the various uses of wood, recognize the mysteries of trees in nature, and learn about the development of forestry. The aim is not only to provide a way out for the forestry industry but to preserve visitors' memories of wood. With this initial intention, all aspects, including interior decoration, copywriting, and space design, have been personally crafted by Yan Weide and his wife. They have also specially planned interactive game areas and DIY woodcraft experiences to ensure that both children and adults leave with happy memories and achieve the goal of educational entertainment. While visiting, be sure to try the signature dishes here—the Cypress Egg and Fruit Popsicle. Cypress Egg is different from the usual tea egg; in addition to a traditional Chinese herbal recipe, it is also simmered with cypress wood, making it not only healthy and delicious but leaving a subtle cypress aroma in your mouth. The Fruit Popsicle consists of only milk and fruit, as the owner insists on not adding emulsifiers or other additives, allowing visitors to enjoy it with peace of mind while retaining the most original fruit flavor. Aimu Village, having emerged as a newcomer, continues to strive for excellence, with visitor numbers rising steadily in just five years since its opening. There are even plans for adult crafting experience classes in the future. With such dedicated management, it's believed that over time, Aimu Village will continue to surprise us with its offerings. Recommended dishes: Cypress Egg, Fruit Popsicle, Dorayaki Ice Cream, Winter Melon Tea. FACEBOOK fan page.
