Aimu Village Leisure and Tourism Factory Introduction
Step into the fairy tale world of the six little pigs! The story of "The Three Little Pigs" has now transformed into the six little pigs hidden within the alleys of Cultural Road in "Aimu Village." With their guidance, visitors can embark on a renovated fairy tale journey to discover the beautiful world of cypress wood. Aimu Village was formerly known as Shunyi Lumber, which has a history of over half a century in Chiayi. When the couple Yan Weide and his wife took over the second generation, they continually communicated with their elders to explore the possibilities of developing wood. From initial skepticism to gaining recognition and support, it took a full three years to birth Aimu Village. Through this space, the hope is to help more people understand the various applications of wood, recognize the mysteries of trees in nature, and learn about the development of forestry. The aim is not only to provide a pathway for the forestry industry but to preserve visitors' memories of wood. With this original intention, all aspects of internal decoration design, content creation, and space conception were crafted by the Yan couple themselves. They have also specifically planned interactive play areas and DIY woodcraft experiences, hoping that both children and adults will leave with joyful memories and records of their visit, achieving the purpose of edutainment. While visiting, make sure to try their signature dishes—Cypress Egg and Fruit Popsicles. The Cypress Egg is different from ordinary tea eggs; in addition to a secret herbal formula, it is also cooked with cypress wood, resulting in a healthy and delicious treat with a subtle cypress fragrance lingering on the palate. The ingredients for the Fruit Popsicles are very simple, consisting only of milk and fruit, and the owner insists on not adding emulsifiers or other additives. This not only allows visitors to enjoy them with peace of mind but also preserves the original fruit flavors. Despite being newly established, Aimu Village continues to strive for excellence. In just five years, the number of visitors has consistently risen, and plans are even underway for adult craft experience classes. With such heartfelt management, we believe Aimu Village will continue to surprise us in the future. Recommended dishes: Cypress Egg, Fruit Popsicles, Dorayaki Ice Cream, Winter Melon Tea.
