Aimu Village Leisure and Tourism Factory Introduction

Step into the fairy tale world of the Six Little Pigs! The story of "The Three Little Pigs" has transformed in modern times into the Six Little Pigs hidden within the alleyways of Cultural Road, known as "Ai Mu Village." Through their guidance, visitors can experience a renewed fairy tale in Ai Mu Village—exploring the beautiful world of cypress wood. Ai Mu Village originated from Shun Yi Wood Industry, which has a history of half a century in Chiayi. As it was passed down to the second generation, the couple Yan Wei-de and his wife communicated continuously with the elders to explore the possibilities of wooden development. It took three whole years to bring Ai Mu Village to life, transitioning from being unappreciated and misunderstood to eventually gaining recognition and affirmation. Through this space, they aim to help more people understand the various aspects of wood usage, appreciate the mysteries of trees in nature, and learn about the history of forestry development. Their intention is not only to create a way forward for the forest industry but also to preserve visitors' memories of wood. With this original aspiration in mind, all the interior design, copywriting, and space concepts were crafted solely by Yan Wei-de and his wife without outside assistance. They also specially planned an interactive area for games and DIY woodworking experiences, hoping that both children and adults leave with joyful memories and records, achieving the goal of education through entertainment. While you're here, be sure to try their signature dishes—Cypress Eggs and Fruit Popsicles. The Cypress Eggs differ from regular tea eggs as they incorporate a secret herbal recipe and are cooked with cypress wood, making them not only healthy and delicious but also leaving a subtle fragrance of cypress in your mouth. The Fruit Popsicles, made simply with milk and fruit, contain no emulsifiers or additives, ensuring that visitors can enjoy them safely while retaining the original flavors of the fruit. Although Ai Mu Village has emerged as a newcomer, it continuously strives for excellence. In just five years of operation, the number of visitors has steadily increased, and future plans even include adult-class crafting experiences. With such thoughtful management, we believe Ai Mu Village will continue to surprise us in the days to come. Recommended dishes: Cypress Eggs, Fruit Popsicles, Dorayaki Ice Cream, Winter Melon Tea.
