Aimu Village Leisure and Tourism Factory Introduction

Stepping into the fairy tale world of the Six Little Pigs, the story of the Three Little Pigs has taken a modern twist, transforming into the Six Little Pigs hidden within the alleys of Cultural Road, known as "Aimu Village." Through their guidance, visitors embark on a revamped fairy tale of Aimu Village, discovering the beautiful world of cypress wood. Aimu Village was originally Shunyi Wood Industry, which has a history of half a century in Chiayi. When it was passed on to the second generation, Yan Weide and his wife, in order to continue the possibilities of wood development, continuously communicated with the elders in the family. Starting from being underestimated and misunderstood, it took three full years to gain recognition and affirmation, leading to the birth of Aimu Village. The hope is that through this space, more people can understand the various uses of wood, recognize the mysteries of trees in nature, and learn about the development process of forestry, ultimately providing a path for forestry while preserving visitors' memories related to wood. With this initial intention, all aspects such as interior design, copywriting, and spatial concepts were crafted solely by the Yan couple. They specially planned interactive game areas and DIY woodcraft experiences, hoping to leave joyful memories and records for visitors of all ages, also achieving the goal of education through entertainment. While enjoying their visit, make sure to try the signature dishes here—Cypress Egg and Fruit Popsicle. Unlike ordinary tea eggs, Cypress Egg not only includes traditional Chinese herbal recipes but is also slow-cooked with cypress wood, making it both healthy and delicious, leaving a subtle cypress aroma on the palate. The Fruit Popsicle is made with just milk and fruit, with the owner insisting on not adding emulsifiers or other additives, allowing visitors to enjoy it with peace of mind while preserving the original taste of fruits. Although Aimu Village has emerged as a newcomer, it continuously strives for excellence. In just five years of operation, the number of visitors keeps rising, and future plans include crafting experience classes for adults. With such dedicated management, it is believed that Aimu Village will continue to surprise us in the future. Recommended dishes: Cypress Egg, Fruit Popsicle, Dorayaki Ice Cream, Winter Melon Tea.
