Yangmingshan Zhongshan Hall Introduction

Chung Shan Hall, located within Yangmingshan National Park, was built in 1965 during President Chiang Kai-shek's administration to commemorate the centenary of the founding father, Dr. Sun Yat-sen. Designed by the renowned architect Ms. Hsieh Tze-lan, it is nestled amidst lush mountains. The hall features classical Chinese architecture on the outside and elegant, intricate furnishings on the inside. It previously served as the venue for the National Assembly and was an important site for hosting foreign dignitaries and state banquets. Today, it has been designated as a city historic site and is open for venue rentals and guided tours, making it a building of historical significance.
