Zhongsan Hall, Yangmingshan Introduction

The Chungshan Hall in Yangmingshan National Park was built in 1965 during the presidency of Chiang Kai-shek to commemorate the centenary of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's birth. It was designed by renowned architect Ms. Hsu Tseh-lan and is located amidst lush mountains. The exterior features traditional Chinese classical architecture, while the interior is elegantly and intricately furnished. Historically, it served as a venue for the National Assembly and an important site for hosting foreign dignitaries or national banquets. It has now been designated as a city historic site and is open for venue rental and guided tours, serving as a building of historical commemorative value.
