Yangmingshan Chungshan Hall Introduction

The Chung Shan Hall within Yangmingshan National Park was built in 1965 by President Chiang Kai-shek to commemorate the centennial birthday of Dr. Sun Yat-sen. It was planned by the renowned architect Ms. Hsu Tze-lan and is surrounded by lush mountains. The exterior is designed in traditional Chinese classical architecture, while the interior is elegantly and delicately furnished. In the past, it served as the venue for the National Assembly and was an important site for hosting foreign guests or state banquets. Today, it has been designated as a municipal historic site and is open for venue rental and guided tours, making it a building of historical significance.
