Yangmingshan Zhongshan Building Introduction

The Chungshan Hall within Yangmingshan National Park was built in 1965 by President Chiang Kai-shek to commemorate the 100th birthday of Dr. Sun Yat-sen. Designed by the renowned architect Lin Tsui-lan, it is surrounded by lush mountains and embodies traditional Chinese classical architecture on the exterior, with elegant and delicate furnishings inside. It formerly served as the venue for the National Assembly and was an important site for hosting foreign dignitaries and national banquets. It has now been designated as a municipal historic site and is available for venue rentals and guided tours, making it a building of historical significance.
