Yangmingshan Zhongshan Hall Introduction
The Chung Shan Hall in Yangmingshan National Park was built in 1965 by President Chiang Kai-shek to commemorate the centenary of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's birth. Designed by renowned architect Mrs. Hsu Tze-lan, it is nestled within lush mountains. The exterior features traditional Chinese classical architecture, while the interior is elegantly and intricately furnished. It formerly served as the venue for the National Assembly and an important site for hosting foreign guests and state banquets. Today, it has been designated as a municipal historic site and is open for venue rental and guided tours, making it a building of historical significance.
