Maiti Pier Introduction
Mei Ti Wharf, located outside the No. 16 Water Gate of the Keelung River and in front of the Mei Ti evacuation gate, is one of the ports in the Blue Highway water transportation network. Its layout is similar to that of the Dajia Wharf, and it primarily serves as a docking point for commuter ships operating on the Blue Highway routes. Mei Ti Wharf extends the Blue Highway routes to the Neihu area, transforming the Keelung River from a point to a line, creating a waterfront tourism zone connected with the Miramar entertainment district. Nearby attractions include the National Palace Museum, the Martyrs' Shrine, the Ferris wheel, and shopping centers and supermarkets around the Neihu Science Park. Additionally, the riverside park where the wharf is located offers a broad view, allowing visitors to see iconic landmarks in Taipei such as the Taipei 101 Tower and the flights at Songshan Airport. It is also an excellent place for residents to enjoy the riverside, relax, stroll, or ride bicycles.
