MRT Dazhi Station Introduction
Meiti Dock, located outside Water Gate No. 16 on Keelung River and in front of Meiti Evacuation Gate, is one of the ports in the Blue Highway water transportation network. Its layout is similar to Dajia Dock, and it primarily serves as a docking area for commercial transportation boats along the Blue Highway routes. Meiti Dock extends the Blue Highway routes to the Neihu area, transforming the Keelung River from a point into a line that integrates with the Miramar commercial district, creating a water tourism corridor. Nearby attractions include the National Palace Museum, the Martyrs' Shrine, and the Ferris wheel, as well as various shopping centers and hypermarkets around the Neihu Science Park, making it a great place for shopping. Additionally, Meiti Riverside Park, where the dock is located, offers a broad view. It provides visitors the opportunity to enjoy sights of Taipei landmarks like Taipei 101 and the planes taking off and landing at Songshan Airport, while also serving as a good spot for citizens to get close to the river, relax, walk, or ride bicycles.
