Mei Ti Wharf Introduction

Meiti Wharf, located at the outside of Watergate No. 16 on Keelung River and in front of Meiti Evacuation Gate, is one of the ports in the Blue Highway Water Transport Network. It has a layout similar to that of Dajia Wharf and currently mainly serves as a docking area for the passenger boats operating on the Blue Highway routes. Meiti Wharf extends the Blue Highway routes to the Neihu area, transforming the Keelung River from a point into a line and creating a water tourism belt that connects to the Miramar Commercial District. Nearby attractions include the National Palace Museum, the Martyrs' Shrine, and the Ferris wheel, as well as various shopping centers and hypermarkets in the vicinity of the Neihu Science Park, providing great places for shopping. Additionally, the Meiti Riverside Park, where the wharf is located, offers a wide view; it allows visitors to see the Taipei 101 landmark and the takeoffs and landings at Songshan Airport, making it an excellent place for citizens to get close to the river, enjoy leisure walks, or ride bicycles.
