National Palace Museum Introduction
The National Historical Museum is located on Changsha Street behind the Presidential Office. The building is a registered historic site that combines Western classical and modern architectural styles. It was originally the Communications Department of the Taiwan Governor-General's Office during the Japanese colonial period. In addition to regular guided tours and group reservation tours, the museum also hosts related promotional and educational activities, including a series of lectures and themed presentations on artifacts. Furthermore, it offers digitized archival materials for public access and research.
