Pingdeng Village Cherry Blossoms Introduction
The cherry blossom viewing spots in northern Taiwan almost all begin with the cherry blossoms on Pingjing Street in Yangmingshan. Every year between January and February, visitors can enter Yangmingshan by turning left onto Lane 71, Section 3, Zhishan Road in Shilin District. Along the way, one can enjoy the blooming mountain cherry blossoms, which are located in the tranquil alleys of Yangmingshan. In the Pingdeng Village area, there are many leisure agricultural farms offering coffee and snacks, where visitors can observe agricultural activities and enjoy farm-to-table dishes, making it a great place for relaxation. The types of cherry blossoms in Yangmingshan include: Formosan cherry (mountain cherry), double-flowered Formosan cherry (Yaezakura), Yoshino cherry, Showa cherry, and Oshima cherry.
