Pingtungli Cherry Blossom Introduction
In northern Taiwan, the cherry blossom viewing spots almost all begin with the cherry blossoms on Pingjing Street in Yangmingshan. Every year between January and February, you can turn left into Yangmingshan from Lane 71, Section 3, Zhishan Road in Shilin District, and along the way you can admire the blooming mountain cherry blossoms, which are nestled in the quiet alleys of Yangmingshan. In Pingdeng Community, there are many recreational and sightseeing farms where you can enjoy coffee and snacks, observe farming activities, and eat home-cooked dishes, making it a great place for relaxation. The types of cherry blossoms in Yangmingshan include: Taiwanese Cherry (Mountain Cherry), Double-petal Taiwanese Cherry (Yaezakura), Yoshino Cherry, Showa Cherry, and Oshima Cherry.
