Pingdengli Cherry Blossoms Introduction
The cherry blossom viewing spots in northern Taiwan almost all start from Pingjing Street in Yangmingshan. Between January and February each year, you can enter Yangmingshan by turning left into the 71st Lane of Section 3, Zhishan Road in the Shilin District, where you can admire the blooming mountain cherry blossoms along the way. The cherry blossoms are located in the tranquil alleys of Yangmingshan, and within Pingdeng Village, there are many leisure and sightseeing farms, offering coffee and snacks, as well as opportunities to observe agricultural activities and enjoy farm-to-table dishes, making it a great place for relaxation. The varieties of cherry blossoms in Yangmingshan include: Prunus campanulata (Mountain Cherry), double-flowered Prunus campanulata (Yaezakura), Yoshino cherry, Showa cherry, and Oshima cherry.
