Pingtung Sakura Introduction
In northern Taiwan, cherry blossom viewing spots almost all start from Pingjing Street in Yangmingshan. Every year between January and February, you can take a left turn at Lane 71, Section 3, Shizhan Road in Shilin District to enter Yangmingshan, where you can enjoy the blooming mountain cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms are located in the quiet alleys of Yangmingshan, and within Pingdeng Village, there are many leisure and sightseeing farms offering coffee, snacks, and opportunities to view agricultural products, as well as enjoy farm-to-table meals, making it an ideal place for relaxation. The varieties of cherry blossoms in Yangmingshan include: Formosan cherry (mountain cherry), double-flowered Formosan cherry (Yaezakura), Yoshino cherry, Showa cherry, and Oshima cherry.
