Flower Experiment Center Introduction
The Flower Experiment Center is located in the Yangmingshan area, covering an area of about 4 hectares. The local climate conditions are particularly suitable for the cultivation of low-altitude temperate ornamental plants. Since 1949, the center has engaged in research and experimental work related to the collection, domestication, and cultivation techniques of camellias and azaleas. In 2003, it was opened to the public and has since transformed into a general park. The Flower Experiment Center showcases the long-term cultivation and research results, allowing visitors to appreciate years of research achievements. The park is planned with multiple themed areas, including a camellia zone, herb zone, fragrant flower zone, native azalea zone, maple zone, conifer zone, Yoshino cherry zone, fern-begonia greenhouse, and succulent greenhouse. Wandering through the themed areas creates various landscape features, enabling visitors to leisurely stroll and enjoy the beauty of the changing seasons. Each area displays different types of plants, providing a rich visual and sensory experience, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the charm of nature.
