Flower Experiment Center Introduction
The Flower Experiment Center is located in the Yangmingshan area, covering an area of approximately 4 hectares, with environmental conditions highly suitable for the cultivation of low-altitude temperate ornamental plants. Since 1949, the center has been engaged in research and experimentation related to the collection, domestication, and cultivation techniques of camellias and azaleas. It opened to the public in 2003 and has since transformed into a general park. The Research and Display Flower Experiment Center openly showcases the long-term cultivation and research results of the park, allowing the public to appreciate many years of research achievements. The park has multiple themed areas, including the Camellia Area, Herb Area, Fragrant Flower Area, Native Azalea Area, Maple Area, Conifer Area, Yoshino Cherry Area, Fern and Crabapple Greenhouse, and Succulent Greenhouse. Strolling through these themed areas creates different landscape characteristics, allowing visitors to leisurely enjoy the beauty of seasonal changes. Each area displays various types of plants, providing a rich visual and sensory experience, enabling visitors to deeply experience the charm of nature.
