Flower Experiment Center Introduction
The Flower Experiment Center is located in Yangmingshan National Park, covering an area of approximately 4 hectares. The local climate conditions are very suitable for cultivating low-altitude temperate flowers and plants. Since 1949, the center has been engaged in research and experimental work on the collection, domestication, and cultivation techniques of camellias and azaleas. In 2003, it opened to the public and has since transformed into a general park. The center continuously exhibits long-term cultivation and research results on flowers, allowing the public to appreciate years of research achievements. The park features several themed areas, including the Camellia Area, Herb Area, Fragrant Flower Area, Native Azalea Area, Maple Area, Conifer Area, Yoshino Cherry Area, Fern and Begonia Greenhouse, and Succulent Greenhouse. Each themed area creates different landscape features, enabling visitors to leisurely stroll and enjoy the beauty of changing seasons. Each area showcases different types of plants, providing a rich visual and sensory experience that allows visitors to deeply experience the charm of nature.
