Yinghua Street Lane 42 Cherry Blossoms Introduction

When the cold cherry blossoms first bloom, the flowers present a pale pinkish-white color, which then turns to pink and eventually to deep red. Each bud contains 3 to 4 flowers, and the buds are spaced closely together. When they bloom together, the entire branch is adorned with delicate and charming pink flowers. The cherry blossom viewing spots in northern Taiwan mostly begin with the cherry blossoms along Pingjing Street in Yangmingshan. Between January and February each year, visitors can turn left into Yangmingshan from Section 3, Zhishan Road in Shilin District and enjoy the blooming mountain cherry blossoms along the way. The cherry blossoms are situated within the tranquil alleys of Yangmingshan, and in Pingdeng Village, there are many recreational agricultural parks, offering coffee, snacks, and opportunities to observe farming activities, as well as to enjoy farm-fresh dishes, making it a great place for relaxation. The types of cherry blossoms in Yangmingshan include: Formosan cherry (Yamazakura), double-flowered Formosan cherry (Yaezakura), Yoshino cherry, Showa cherry, and Oshima cherry.
