Pingjing Street Lane 42 Cherry Blossoms Introduction
When the cold cherry blossoms begin to bloom, their flowers appear a pale pinkish-white, later turning to pink and eventually deep red. Each bud contains 3 to 4 flowers, with the buds spaced closely together. When they all bloom, the entire branch is adorned with delicate and charming pink flowers. The cherry blossom viewing spots in northern Taiwan almost all begin with the cherry blossoms on Pingjing Street in Yangmingshan. Between January and February each year, you can turn left into Yangmingshan from Section 3, Shanzhong Road in Shilin District to admire the mountain cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms are located in the tranquil lanes of Yangmingshan, and in Pingdeng Village, there are many leisure and sightseeing farms where you can enjoy coffee, snacks, observe farming activities, and eat home-cooked dishes, making it a great place for relaxation.
