Beimen MRT Station - Taipei Railway Bureau Introduction
Beimen Station is part of the Taipei Metro Songshan Line, located on Tacheng Street. It is an underground station with 4 levels, approximately 171 meters long and 32 meters wide, and has a depth of about 32 meters. The station has 3 exits, 2 ventilation shafts, and 2 accessible elevators. When designing the Songshan Line, broad public art principles were integrated into the architectural and landscape design, incorporating artistic concepts that represent the cultural and environmental characteristics of the area. Through color schemes, themes, and sub-themes, various different styles are created to be presented to the public. The design concept for Beimen Station – "Cheng En, Qi Yuan" – captures the essence of humanistic spirit and echoes historical trajectories.
