Chao Tai Gallery was founded in 1984 and is a senior member of the Taiwan Gallery Association. The person in charge has served multiple terms as a director and executive director, actively promoting the Taiwanese art industry and improving the market environment. Since the 1990s, the gallery has represented outstanding young and middle-aged artists from both sides of the Taiwan Strait and started focusing on contemporary art in Taiwan and Asia in 2006. In 2007, it co-founded the "Taiwan Contemporary Art Link" with other industry peers, aiming to promote Taiwanese contemporary artists more effectively. In 2009, it established "Young Art Taipei," an international contemporary art fair in Taipei, and in 2019, it will launch "One Art Taipei" as a co-founder. Currently, Chao Tai Gallery operates in two main directions: managing works by classic renowned artists such as Zhu Dequn, Yayoi Kusama, Ding Yi, and Takashi Murakami, among others; and nurturing outstanding young contemporary artists from Asia, actively discovering future talents through 5-7 exhibitions each year.
