Kuo Mu Sheng Cultural and Educational Foundation Art Center Introduction
To promote cultural education and encourage artistic creation, the Koo Ming-Shen Cultural and Educational Foundation established the Koo Ming-Shen Art Center in 1997. Located across from National Taiwan Normal University, the venue spans approximately 200 ping and is divided into two spaces: a larger exhibition area for renowned artists to hold solo or group exhibitions, and a smaller space (the Emerging Space) that accommodates 20-30 works for young artists to present solo exhibitions. Since July 1997, the art center has regularly hosted art exhibitions, with over 100 shows featuring both domestic and international artists to date, making it a prominent private exhibition space in Taipei City. The Koo Ming-Shen Art Center has previously hosted many solo exhibitions of well-known artists from Taiwan and abroad, and will continue to invite more young artists to exhibit here in the future. It will also participate in domestic and international art fairs to introduce represented artists to the global stage. (Source: Taipei City Cultural Affairs Bureau)
