Quanyuan Park Foot Bath Area Introduction

※Park Closure Announcement: The hot spring foot bath at Quanyuan Park in Beitou District, Taipei City will be temporarily closed starting May 14, 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience! Quanyuan Park in Beitou is surrounded by stable hot spring water resources. In order to sustainably utilize the environmental resources, the Taipei City Government’s Department of Economic Development has set up a free "Foot Bath Experience Area" that combines leisure and intellectual exploration. Visitors can take the MRT to Beitou Station, then transfer to the MRT branch line to Xinbeitou Station. Upon exiting the MRT plaza, they will see Zhonghe Street. By turning right on Zhonghe Street and walking straight along Zhuhai Road, passing Quanyuan Park and Huankang Creek, it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to reach the "Foot Bath Area" located directly across from Yifang Elementary School. Before entering the foot bath, visitors should follow the hot spring foot bath etiquette by washing their feet at the water pump facilities set up within the area, then they can comfortably relax and soak their feet! The Taipei City Government's Department of Economic Development has also thoughtfully provided rain shelters, safety handrails, and storage areas for public use. After soaking, visitors can stroll along the Old Hot Spring Street next to Xinbeitou Station, and explore a series of attractions along the Beitou Creek, such as Beitou Park, Beitou Hot Spring Museum, Beitou Outdoor Hot Spring, Meiting, Beitou Library, Geothermal Valley, Beitou Cultural Museum, and more. The mineral quality of the foot bath is similar to that of the Geothermal Valley's green sulfur and can promote metabolism. We invite the public to take advantage of and fully enjoy this free hot spring foot bath! (Source: Taipei City Government Department of Economic Development)
