Quanyuan Park Foot Bath Area Introduction

※Closure Announcement: The foot bath pool at Quanyuan Park in Beitou District, Taipei City will be temporarily closed starting May 14, 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience! Quanyuan Park in Beitou is surrounded by stable hot spring water resources. To promote the sustainable use of environmental resources, the Taipei City Government's Department of Economic Development has set up a free "Foot Bath Experience Area" that combines leisure and knowledge. Visitors can take the MRT to Beitou Station and transfer to the MRT branch line to Xinbeitou Station. After exiting the MRT plaza, you will see Zhonghe Street. Turn right on Zhonghe Street and continue straight along Zhuha Road. After passing Quanyuan Park and Huanggankeng Stream, it will take about 10-15 minutes to reach the "Foot Bath Pool Area" located directly across from Yifang Elementary School. Prior to entering the pool, visitors should follow the hot spring foot bath etiquette and wash their feet at the water pump station set up in the park. Then, they can comfortably relax and soak their feet! The Department of Economic Development has also thoughtfully set up rain shelters, safety handrails, and storage areas for public use. After soaking, visitors can stroll along the Old Hot Spring Street next to Xinbeitou Station and check out a series of attractions along the Beitou Stream, such as Beitou Park, the Beitou Hot Springs Museum, the Beitou Public Hot Springs, Meiting, the Beitou Library, the Geothermal Valley, and the Beitou Cultural Museum, among others. The water quality of the foot pool is similar to the green sulfur found in the Geothermal Valley, which can promote metabolism. We welcome the public to make full use of and enjoy this free hot spring foot bath pool. (Source: Department of Economic Development, Taipei City Government)
