Spring Source Park Foot Bath Area Introduction
※Closure Announcement: The Hot Spring Foot Bath Pool at Quanyuan Park in Beitou District, Taipei City will be temporarily closed starting May 14, 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience caused! Quanyuan Park in Beitou is surrounded by stable hot spring water resources. In order to sustainably utilize environmental resources, the Taipei City Government's Department of Economic Development has set up a free "Foot Bath Experience Area" that combines leisure and knowledge. Visitors can take the MRT to Beitou Station and then transfer to the MRT branch line to Xinbeitou Station. Upon exiting the MRT plaza, you can see Zhonghe Street, turn right at Zhonghe Street onto Zhu Hai Road, and walk straight. After passing Quanyuan Park and Huan Gang Creek, it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to reach the "Quanyuan Park Foot Bath Area," located directly across from Yifang Elementary School. Before entering the pool, visitors should adhere to the hot spring foot bath etiquette by washing their feet at the water pump station set up in the area, after which they can comfortably relax in the pool! The Taipei City Government's Department of Economic Development has also thoughtfully provided rain shelters, safety handrails, and storage areas for the public's convenience. After soaking your feet, you can stroll along the old hot spring street next to Xinbeitou Station and explore a series of attractions along the Beitou Creek, such as Beitou Park, Beitou Hot Spring Museum, Beitou Outdoor Hot Springs, Mei Pavilion, Beitou Library, Geothermal Valley, Beitou Cultural Museum, and more. The mineral quality of the foot bath pool is similar to that of the Geothermal Valley’s green sulfur, which can promote metabolism. We welcome the public to come and enjoy this free hot spring foot bath pool to the fullest! (Source: Taipei City Government Department of Economic Development)
