Quanyuan Park Foot Bath Area Introduction

※ Closed for Maintenance: The foot bath pool at Quanyuan Park, Beitou District, Taipei City, will be temporarily closed starting on May 14, 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience! Quanyuan Park in Beitou is surrounded by stable hot spring water resources. To sustainably utilize environmental resources, the Taipei City Government's Department of Economic Development has established a free "Foot Bath Experience Area" that combines leisure and knowledge. Visitors can take the MRT to Beitou Station, then transfer to the MRT branch line to Xinbeitou Station. Upon exiting the MRT plaza, you will see Zhonghe Street; turn right on Zhonghe Street and walk straight along Zhuhai Road. After passing Quanyuan Park and Huanggang Creek, it takes about 10-15 minutes to reach the "Quanyuan Park Foot Bath Area," located directly opposite Yifang Elementary School. Before entering the foot bath, visitors are expected to observe the foot bath etiquette by washing their feet at the water pump located within the park. After that, they can comfortably soak their feet! The Taipei City Government's Department of Economic Development has also thoughtfully provided rain shelters, safety handrails, and storage areas for public use. After soaking, visitors can stroll along the old hot spring street next to Xinbeitou Station and explore a series of attractions surrounding Beitou Creek, such as Beitou Park, Beitou Hot Spring Museum, Beitou Outdoor Hot Spring, Meiting, Beitou Library, Geothermal Valley, and Beitou Cultural Museum, among others. The mineral composition of the foot bath water is similar to that of the Geothermal Valley's green sulfur, which can help promote metabolism. We warmly welcome the public to take full advantage of and enjoy this free hot spring foot bath! (Source: Department of Economic Development, Taipei City Government)
