Baihe A-Po Rice Cake, Mi Taimu (Ren'ai Store) Introduction
Once upon a time in Baihe Township, Tainan County, there was an 85-year-old grandmother who had been selling rice noodles and bowl cakes in the market for over 50 years. There were no fancy packaging or television reports, but one bite would deeply attract you to her flavors, making you feel as if you were transported back to the old days, with nostalgic memories of childhood laughter and tears floating in your mind. The grandmother highly values food quality, never cutting corners or adding any chemicals. "Following traditional methods and insisting on handcrafting" is her philosophy, showcasing the dignity and dedication of the older generation of Taiwanese towards food. Although as she ages she must give up this traditional craft, fortunately, she has passed down this traditional and delicious method, allowing the authentic taste to continue.
