Mingde New Village (Jiangjun Village) Introduction
Ming De in Ming De New Village’s Officer Street is home to high-ranking Navy officers. This area was once the quarters for officers of the Imperial Japanese Navy's 11th Air Fleet, thus the bungalows are primarily in Japanese architectural style with spacious courtyards, averaging around 1 to 2 hundred ping per unit. Former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone also resided in the village, which continued to house Navy officers and their families after the war, truly making it a generals' village.
