Mingde New Village (Jiangjun Village) Introduction
Mingde Street in Mingde New Village is home to high-ranking officers of the Navy. This area was once the officer quarters for the Japanese Navy's 11th Air Fleet, so the bungalows primarily feature Japanese architectural style combined with spacious courtyards, with each officer's residence averaging around 1 to 2 hundred pings. Former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone also lived in the village, which post-war housed Navy officers and their families, truly making it a village of generals.
