Mingde New Village (Jiangjun Village) Introduction
Mingder Street in Mingder New Village was home to senior naval officers. This area was once the dormitory for the officers of the Japanese Navy's 11th Air Fleet, characterized by single-story buildings primarily in Japanese architectural style, along with spacious courtyards. Each official residence averages around 1 to 2 hundred ping. Former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone also lived in the village, which post-war housed naval officers and their families, making it a true officers' village.
