Mingde New Village (Jiangjun Village) Introduction
Ming Te, located in Ming Te New Village, was home to high-ranking naval officers. This area once served as the officer quarters for the Japanese Navy's 11th Air Fleet, featuring houses primarily designed in Japanese architectural style along with spacious courtyards, with each official residence averaging around 1 to 2 hundred ping. Former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone also resided in the village, which continued to house naval officers and their families after the war, truly earning the title of "General Village."
