Mingde New Village (Jiangjun Village) Introduction
Mingde Street in Mingde New Village is home to high-ranking officers of the Navy. This place was once the officers' quarters for the Japanese Navy's 11th Air Fleet, so the bungalows are primarily built in a Japanese architectural style with spacious courtyards. Each officer's residence averages around 1,200 to 2,400 square feet. Former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone also lived in the village, which post-war became a residence for naval officers and their families, truly making it a generals' village.
