Haifeng Wetland Introduction
Located near the Chonglan Old Channel in the Haifeng area, this site was originally land owned by Taiwan Sugar Corporation. Later, the county government planned the construction of primary sedimentation basins, natural purification channels, and a 6-hectare ecological pond to purify the water quality of the Chonglan Old Channel, serving as a fresh water source for the Wannian River. The Haifeng Wetland is rich in ecological diversity, with many species of water birds and insects coexisting harmoniously. In addition to aquatic plants that help purify the water, willow trees surround the ecological pond, creating a bright and open natural landscape. It feels like an unpolluted sanctuary; closing your eyes and taking a deep breath brings a refreshing sensation that rises to the heart, undoubtedly making it an ecological paradise.
