Haifeng Wetland Introduction
Located near the old waterway of Chonglan in Haifeng District, this area was originally land owned by Taiwan Sugar Corporation. Later, the county government planned a primary sedimentation pond, natural purification channels, and a 6-hectare ecological pond to purify the water quality of the old Chonglan waterway, which serves as a source of fresh water for the Wannian Creek. The Haifeng Wetland boasts a rich variety of ecological species, with many water birds and insects coexisting harmoniously. In addition to cultivating aquatic plants for water purification, willows surround the ecological pond, creating a bright and open natural landscape that feels like an unpolluted paradise. Closing your eyes and taking a deep breath here brings an undeniable sense of comfort, making it a true ecological haven.
