Haifeng Wetland Introduction
Located near the Chonglan Old Canal in the Haifeng area, it was originally Taiwan Sugar Corporation land. Later, the county government planned primary sedimentation ponds, natural purification channels, and a 6-hectare ecological pool to purify the water quality of the Chonglan Old Canal, serving as a fresh water source for Wannian Creek. The Haifeng Wetland is rich in ecological varieties, housing many species of waterfowl and insects coexisting harmoniously. In addition to planting aquatic plants that purify water quality, willows surround the ecological pool, creating a bright and open natural landscape that resembles an untarnished sanctum. Closing your eyes and taking a deep breath fills you with a sense of comfort, making it undoubtedly an ecological paradise.
