Haifeng Wetlands Introduction
Located near the old Chonglan Canal in the Haifeng area, it was originally land owned by Taiwan Sugar Corporation. Later, the county government planned a primary sedimentation pond, natural purification channels, and a 6-hectare ecological pool to purify the water quality of the Chonglan Canal, serving as a source of fresh water for the Wannian River. The Haifeng Wetland is rich in ecological diversity, hosting various water birds and insects that coexist and thrive together. In addition to planting aquatic plants to purify the water quality, willows surround the ecological pool, creating a bright and open natural landscape that resembles an untouched area. With closed eyes and a deep breath, a sense of comfort rises to the heart, making it undoubtedly an ecological paradise.
