Haifeng Wetland Introduction
Located near the old Chonglan Canal in Haifeng District, this area was originally part of Taiwan Sugar Corporation's land. Later, the county government planned primary sedimentation ponds, natural purification channels, and a 6-hectare ecological pond to purify the water quality of the old Chonglan Canal, serving as a water source for Wannian Creek. The Haifeng Wetland is rich in ecological diversity, with various water birds and insects coexisting harmoniously. In addition to planting aquatic plants that purify the water, willow trees surround the ecological pond, creating a bright and open natural landscape that resembles an unpolluted paradise. Closing your eyes and taking a deep breath here brings an immediate sense of comfort, undoubtedly making it an ecological haven.
