Agricultural Products Museum Introduction
The integration of agricultural universities, industrial characteristics, production and marketing centers, and even rice paddy paintings fully showcases the agricultural cultural features of Pingtung. In order to provide a resting space for tourists traveling from north to south and to purchase more agricultural and fishery specialties from Pingtung, the concept of "Rice Station" has been adopted to build this product exhibition hall, with the hope of attracting more visitors in the future and creating higher economic value. The first floor features the product exhibition hall, the second floor connects to the agricultural university, and the third floor offers a viewing area for the painted rice fields, all brimming with the agricultural cultural features of Pingtung, reflecting the efforts invested by the county government over the years. The exhibition hall is located next to the Pingtung interchange, serving the function of the Rice Station by providing a resting space for travelers. The building incorporates surrounding elements like characteristic fruit dolls, rice paddy landscapes, scenic grass hills, and green plazas, linking the courtyard greenery to photo spots on the viewing platform, creating a local specialty production and marketing center. The overall planning and design have also received recognition from the National Excellent Construction Award. To ensure that Pingtung's agricultural and fishery specialties can become excellent souvenirs and to match the agricultural university on the second floor, the product exhibition hall was established, with the aim of becoming the best marketing platform for new agriculture in Pingtung in the future. The third floor is designed as an open space, turning agriculture into a landscape art creation, and regular rice paddy paintings will be held in the spring and autumn seasons. The second floor will also serve as a base for the agricultural university, encouraging students to share experiences and create their own brands, moving forward with their dreams. The Agricultural Product Exhibition Hall has three floors with a total area of 1,573 ping, making it the largest in the country. The first floor sells excellent agricultural products from Pingtung, while the second floor features the "Delicious Pingtung" special exhibition and serves as a training center for the agricultural university. Visitors can enjoy the colorful rice views from the corridors on the second and third floors. The exhibition opening will include events showcasing artistic bonsai arrangements on each floor, creating a strong artistic atmosphere. The design of the rice paddy painting pattern incorporates elements of Pingtung's local culture, integrating the features of landscapes such as Dawan Mountain, Eluanbi Lighthouse, black tuna, Little Liuqiu, and Dapeng Bay, represented in black, purple, yellow, white, and green colored rice, demonstrating Pingtung's agricultural soft power through three-dimensional transformation techniques.
