Agricultural Products Hall Introduction
The agricultural culture of Pingtung is fully displayed by integrating agriculture universities, industry characteristics, production and marketing centers, and even rice paddy paintings. To provide a resting space for tourists traveling from south to north and to encourage more purchases of Pingtung's agricultural and fishery specialty products, the "Rice Station" concept has been adopted to build this product pavilion, with the hope of attracting more people in the future and creating greater economic value. The first floor features the product pavilion, the second floor houses the agricultural university, and the third floor is an observation area for painted rice paddies, all filled with the agricultural cultural characteristics of Pingtung and reflecting years of effort from the county government. The pavilion is located next to the Pingtung interchange, utilizing the Rice Station concept to provide a resting area for travelers, with the building integrating surrounding elements such as specialty fruit figurines, rice paddy landscapes, scenic grass slopes, and green belt plazas, connecting the courtyard greenery to photo spots on the observation platform, creating a local specialty product exhibition and sales center for Pingtung. The overall design has also won the national excellence construction award. In order to showcase Pingtung County's agricultural and fishery specialties as the best souvenirs and to align with the agricultural university on the second floor, the product pavilion was established with the expectation that it will serve as the best marketing platform for new agriculture in Pingtung in the future. The third floor will act as an open space, turning agriculture into landscape art creations, with regular rice paddy paintings planned for the spring and autumn seasons. The second floor of the product pavilion will also serve as the base for the agricultural university, encouraging participants to share and create their own brands to pursue their dreams. The agricultural product pavilion spans three floors, covering a total area of 1,573 pings, making it the largest in the country. The first floor sells Pingtung's unique agricultural products, while the second floor features the "Delicious Pingtung" special exhibition and the agricultural university training center, where visitors can simultaneously view the colorful rice on the second and third-floor corridors. The opening of the pavilion incorporates tree art and elegant stone bonsai exhibitions, with artistic bonsai arrangements on each floor, creating a strong cultural and artistic ambiance. This time, the design of the painted rice paddy patterns incorporates elements of Pingtung's local culture, integrating local scenic features such as Dawu Mountain, Eluanbi Lighthouse, black marlin, Xiao Liu Qiu, and Dapeng Bay, presented in five colors of black, purple, yellow, white, and green rice, using three-dimensional transformation technology to showcase Pingtung's agricultural soft power.
