Fourth Military Police Corps (Former Site) Introduction

During the February 28 Incident, the 4th Constabulary Regiment was responsible for pacification operations in northern Taiwan, and also collaborated with other units to "sweep" the urban area of Keelung. After martial law was declared on March 10, the 4th Constabulary Regiment took charge of pacification operations north of Hsinchu, led by Major General Zhang Mutao, who also served as the commander of the northern pacification area. The original site of the 4th Constabulary Regiment was initially established as Hongji Hospital by Dr. Lin Qingyue, which was later taken over by the Taiwan Governor's Office to become a Rehabilitation Center for the treatment of opium addicts and narcotics patients. After the war, it was relocated and occupied by the 4th Military Police Regiment.
