Fourth Military Police Corps (Old Site) Introduction
During the February 28 Incident, the 4th Constabulary Regiment was responsible for pacification and suppression in northern Taiwan, and it collaborated with other units to carry out operations in the Keelung City area. After martial law was declared on March 10, the 4th Constabulary Regiment was assigned to clear out areas north of Hsinchu, with Brigadier General Zhang Muta as the commander of the northern pacification zone. The original site of the 4th Constabulary Regiment was the Hongji Hospital established by Dr. Lin Qingyue, which was later taken over by the Taiwan Governor-General's Office to establish a rehabilitation center for the treatment and confinement of opium addicts and drug abuse patients. After the war, it was relocated and occupied by the 4th Military Police Regiment.
