Liancheng Lotus Garden Introduction

Liancheng Lotus Garden is located at the foot of the mountains in Nanhua Village, Ji'an Township, Hualien County. The garden covers an area of approximately one hectare and is irrigated by natural water sourced from Qilai Mountain, brought in via Mugua Creek. The water is clear and pure, maintaining a temperature below twenty degrees Celsius throughout the year, making it ideal for lotus growth. The garden features more than sixty different varieties of lotus, sixteen types of water lilies, and over seventy species of aquatic plants, with blooming lotuses displaying their beauty and filling the air with fragrance all year round. The garden is divided into several areas, including the Lotus Area, Giant Water Lily Area, Water Lily Area, Aquatic Plant Area, Guanyin Lotus Area, and a Night Blooming Lotus Area. The main focus of the garden is on the development and research of lotus varieties, operating as a park with free admission. Visitors can enjoy complimentary lotus tea, and staff are available for ecological introductions about the lotus flowers, making it a suitable place for families to enjoy viewing flowers and savoring their fragrance.
