Lotus City Lotus Garden Introduction
Liancheng Lotus Garden is located at the foot of the mountains in Nanhua Village, Ji'an Township, Hualien County. The garden covers an area of approximately one hectare, with irrigation water sourced from the natural water of Qilai Mountain, brought in by the Mugua Stream, which is clear and pure. The water temperature remains below twenty degrees Celsius throughout the year, making it ideal for lotus cultivation. The garden hosts more than sixty different species of lotus, sixteen species of water lilies, and over seventy species of aquatic plants, which bloom beautifully all year round, filling the area with fragrance. The garden is divided into several sections, including the lotus area, giant water lily area, water lily area, aquatic plant area, Guanyin lotus area, and the nighttime blooming lotus area. The garden primarily focuses on the research and development of lotus varieties and related species, operating as a park with no admission fee. Complimentary lotus tea is provided, and if needed, staff will offer ecological introductions about the lotus flowers, making it a perfect spot for families to enjoy the flowers and fragrances together.
