Seven Hole Waterfall Introduction
The Qikong Waterfall group is located in the Dulu River in the northern part of the Hengchun Peninsula. The seven-tiered waterfalls cascade one after another, surrounded by dense primeval forests, making it an excellent place for waterfall appreciation, river tracing, hiking, and enjoying mountain scenery. Due to the significant height difference, the water from the waterfalls continuously erodes the riverbed, forming pools of varying depths, which locals refer to as "kongs," hence the name "Qikong." The entrance to the Qikong Waterfall is at the Chunxing Bridge on County Highway 200. After crossing the Duxing Bridge No. 1 and traveling about 2 kilometers, you will reach the ticket booth. Walking along the trail for approximately 8 minutes, you will encounter the first waterfall, which is about 10 meters high and spectacular as the water flows over the rocks. After passing the second waterfall, you can see the continuous waterfalls from the third to the fifth tier. Continuing forward leads you to the sixth tier and finally to the seventh waterfall. Exploring the entire waterfall takes about 30 minutes, offering a unique experience. After visiting the Qikong Waterfall group, you can connect to nearby scenic spots such as Jialeshui, Fengchui Sha, and coastal attractions in Kenting.
