Seven Hole Waterfall Introduction
The Qikong Waterfall Group is located in the Kadulu River in the northern part of the Hengchun Peninsula. The seven-tiered waterfalls cascade brilliantly, surrounded by dense and pristine forests, making it an excellent place for waterfall viewing, river tracing, hiking, and enjoying mountain scenery. Due to the considerable height difference, the waterfall stream has long eroded the riverbed, creating pools of varying depths, which the locals refer to as "kongs," hence the name "Qikong." The entrance to the Qikong Waterfall is at the Chunching Bridge head on County Road 200. After passing through the Duxing Bridge No. 1, it takes about 2 kilometers to reach the ticket office. Walking along the trail for approximately 8 minutes will lead you to the first waterfall, which is about 10 meters high and cascades down the rocks spectacularly. After passing the second waterfall, you will see the cascade of the third to fifth waterfalls in succession. Continuing forward will bring you to the sixth waterfall and finally to the seventh waterfall. Exploring the entire waterfall takes about 30 minutes, and discovering this waterfall is quite intriguing. After visiting the Qikong Waterfall Group, you can link it with nearby scenic spots such as Jialeshui, Fengchui Sand, and coastal attractions in Kenting.
