Jiali Mountain Trail Introduction
Jiali Mountain, known as "Taiwan's Fuji," features a trail approximately 5,800 meters long. The first half has a gentle slope, showcasing a unique "water pipe road," remnants of an early logging railroad, and the crystal-clear Fengmei Stream, offering a truly exceptional landscape. The second half presents the most challenging part, with rocky paths and steep climbs over ancient tree roots. Standing at the summit, gazing at the drifting mist and beautiful mountain scenery, the hardships of the journey become insignificant. Trail length (m): 5800m. Walking time (minutes): 1 day. Significant points along the way: The Jiali Mountain trail connects Nanzhuang, Penglai, Fengmei, and Luchang. Along the trail, visitors can see the cart tracks from the logging era, witnessing the flourishing forestry of the past. The summit has a first-order triangulation point with a broad view, allowing sight of the magnificent Xueshan Ridge and the nearby Luchang Mountain.
