Jiali Mountain Trail Introduction
Jiali Mountain is known as the "Fuji of Taiwan." The trail is approximately 5,800 meters long; the first half has a gentle slope, featuring a unique "water pipe road," remnants of a small railway used for transporting timber in earlier times, and the crystal-clear Fengmei River, creating a very special landscape. The second half is the most challenging part, where the trail is strewn with large boulders and even has steep sections with twisted old tree roots. When you stand at the summit, looking out at the drifting mist and beautiful mountain scenery, the difficulties of the journey feel insignificant. Trail length (m): 5,800m Walking time (min): 1 day Main points along the trail: The Jiali Mountain trail connects Nanzhuang, Penglai, Fengmei, and Luchang.
