Jiali Mountain Trail Introduction
Jiali Mountain is known as the "Fuji Mountain of Taiwan." The trail is approximately 5,800 meters long; the first half features a gentle slope and includes unique "water pipe paths," remnants of an early logging railway, and the crystal-clear Fengmei River, creating a distinctive landscape. The second half is the most challenging, with a mountain path strewn with boulders and steep climbs entangled with the roots of ancient trees. Standing at the summit, gazing at the distant mist and beautiful mountain scenery, the hardships of the journey become trivial. Trail length (m): 5800m. Walking time (minutes): 1 day. Key points along the route: The Jiali Mountain Trail connects Nan-chuang, Penglai, Fengmei, and Luchang. Along the way, you can see the tracks of logging carts, a testament to the thriving logging industry of the past. At the summit, there is a first-class triangulation point with a broad view, offering a distant glance at the magnificent Xueshan Ridge and the nearby Luchang Mountain.
