Longzitou Introduction
Near the source to the water gate, looking out towards the Bagua Mountain Range, you will see a prominent hill known as "Longzitou," which stands tall and elegant with clearly defined valleys. The presence of Longzitou complements the nearby flat fields and winding streams. Behind Longzitou lies an area of over 90 hectares designated as the "Taiwan Macaque Protected Area" by the Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan, where there are currently around a hundred individuals. Note: The "Taiwan Macaque Protected Area" was designated in 1981 and was abolished in July 2006, returning the area to protective forest management.
