Sock King Tourist Factory Introduction
Sheng Hong Socks transformed into a tourist factory in 2011. It offers DIY sock doll creation and showcases traditional sock weaving machines. Visitors can gain hands-on knowledge about the sock-making process, from handmade to fully automated production, allowing for a deeper understanding of Taiwan's traditional sock weaving industry. The factory also sells a variety of products, and if there are any questions, guests can immediately consult with staff members. After explanations from the staff, visitors can find suitable and comfortable socks. In addition to selling socks, Sheng Hong Socks has developed many new products, including the national flag scarf used by the President during the flag-raising ceremony at the Presidential Office in 2010, which brought significant attention to the brand. Currently, Sheng Hong Socks designs more creative and Taiwan-symbolizing scarves and other products, all of which are also on display in the tourist factory.
