Sock King Tourist Factory Introduction
Sheng Hong Knitting Socks transformed into a tourist factory in 2011, providing DIY sock puppet creation and showcasing traditional sock knitting machines. This allows the public to understand the knowledge and process of sock manufacturing, offering a deeper insight into Taiwan's traditional sock industry. The factory also sells a variety of products, and any questions can be immediately addressed by the staff. Through their explanations, visitors can find suitable and comfortable socks. In addition to selling socks, many new products have been developed, including the national flag scarves used by the president during the flag-raising ceremony at the Presidential Office in 2010, which brought fame to Sheng Hong Knitting Socks. Currently, Sheng Hong Knitting Socks has also designed more creative scarves and other products that symbolize Taiwan, all of which are displayed for sale in the tourist factory.
