At the end of Taiping Old Street, in front of Taiping Elementary School, there is the Bamboo Forest Teahouse, which serves as another entrance. Following the stone steps and crossing the suspension bridge leads to the most famous Moso Bamboo Forest in Taiping. The paths on both sides are lined with Moso bamboo, resembling a green jungle, reminiscent of the bamboo forest scenery in director Ang Lee's film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
