At the front of Taiping Elementary School along Taiping Old Street, there is the Bamboo Forest Tea House, which serves as another entrance. Walking along the stone steps and crossing the suspension bridge leads to the most famous Moso Bamboo Forest in Taiping. On either side of the trail, Moso bamboo lines the path, resembling an entry into a green jungle, reminiscent of the bamboo scenery from director Ang Lee's film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon."
