Taiping Cloud Ladder Introduction
Taipei Cloud Ladder is 281 meters long and approximately 1,000 meters above sea level, making it the highest scenic suspension bridge in Taiwan. The bridge crosses the Shiyuan Rainbow Waterfall from Meishan Taiping Village Viewing Platform to Guishan, allowing visitors to overlook the beauty of Chiayi and enjoy the scenery of sea of clouds. It provides a comprehensive view of the famous Meishan 36 bends and even allows for distant views of the Chianan Plain. Taipei Cloud Ladder opening hours are as follows: weekdays: 09:00-17:30, last entry at 17:00 (November to March: 09:00-16:30, last entry at 16:00); Saturday: 09:00-20:00; Sunday: 09:00-17:30 (latest entry before 17:00). Closed on Wednesdays. Accessible facilities include accessible restrooms, parking lots, and a service center.
