The Taiping Cloud Ladder is 281 meters long and stands at an altitude of approximately 1,000 meters, making it the highest scenic suspension bridge in Taiwan. The bridge spans from the lookout point in Meishan Taiping Village across the San Yuan Rainbow Waterfall to Guishan, allowing visitors to overlook the beautiful landscape of Chiayi and enjoy the sea of clouds. It offers stunning views of the famous Mei Shan 36 bends and even a distant view of the Chianan Plain. Opening hours: Weekdays: 09:00-17:30, last entry at 17:00 (from November to March: 09:00-16:30, last entry at 16:00) Saturdays: 09:00-20:00 Sundays: 09:00-17:30 (latest entry by 17:00) Closed on Wednesdays. Transportation Methods：1. Take Taiwan Railway: Please get off at Chiayi Station and transfer to a bus to Meishan. At Meishan Bus Station, transfer to the Taiping Line bus to Taiping Cloud Ladder. 2. Take High-Speed Rail: Please get off at Chiayi Station and transfer to BRT to Chiayi Train Station, then transfer to a bus to Meishan. At Meishan Bus Station, transfer to the Taiping Line bus to Taiping Cloud Ladder. 3. Bus routes 7304, 7315, and 7323 all depart from Chiayi Train Station. Transfer at Meishan Bus Station to the Taiping Line bus to Taiping Cloud Ladder.
