Taiping Cloud Ladder Introduction

The Taiping Cloud Ladder is 281 meters long and at an altitude of approximately 1,000 meters, making it the highest scenic suspension bridge in Taiwan. The bridge spans from the Weifeng Platform in Meishan Taiping Village across the San Yuan Rainbow Waterfall to Guishan, allowing travelers to overlook the scenic views of Chiayi and enjoy the sea of clouds. It captures the renowned beauty of the 36 bends of Meishan and even offers a distant view of the Chianan Plain. The opening hours for the Taiping Cloud Ladder are as follows: Monday to Friday: 09:00-17:30, last admission at 17:00 (from November to March: 09:00-16:30, last admission at 16:00); Saturdays: 09:00-17:30; Sundays: 09:00-17:30 (latest entry before 5 p.m.); Closed on Wednesdays.
