Old Mill Maoshu Creek Suspension Bridge Historic Site Introduction
From County Road 154 towards Ruifeng Line, passing through the currently closed Shengmaoshu Creek. Shengmaoshu Creek and its tributaries are the mother river of Taishing Village, nurturing its past, present, and future. The creek is home to national treasure-level fish species such as the Taiwanese Salmon. After a year of stream conservation, the fish population thrived, but during the 2004 72 Flood, most of the protected fish overflowed the banks and were lost. The villagers decided to close the creek again, and tourists are prohibited from fishing in the creek to avoid penalties. After passing Shengmaoshu Creek, you will reach the legendary Ruixing Lover's Suspension Bridge and the century-old mill.
