Bihu Viewing Platform Introduction
The Bihu Tourist Tea Garden is located in Bihu Village, Meishan Township, on Bifeng Mountain (between 1,000 to 1,200 meters above sea level). To the east, visitors can gaze upon the peaks, valleys, and settlements of the Ruitai area. To the north, the site offers distant views of the Caoling Wetland ruins, and on clear days, the main peak of Yushan (Jade Mountain) can be seen from this location. The Bihu Mountain Tourist Garden is often shrouded in clouds and mist on weekdays, presenting ever-changing landscapes. During January and February each year, magnificent seas of clouds frequently appear. The site features a modern observation pavilion and a parking lot for visitors to enjoy the scenic views and take a break. To enhance the beauty of Bihu's landscape, the tea area has gradually completed the undergroundization of power lines. Overlooking the Bihu tea area, one cannot see a single power pole; only an arrangement of tea gardens and clouds encircling the mountain peaks can be found, making it an excellent spot for watching sunrises. Walking through the tea-scented forest not only allows one to enjoy the aroma of tea but also helps to stretch muscles that have not been active for a while.
