Fengliu Cave Trail (Haunted House Section) is closed, with the closure expected to last until March 31, 2026 (tentative). You can cross through the bamboo forest beside the Haunted House to reach a small waterfall. Continuing downstream, you will find one large and one small Lovers' Cave. The Lovers' Cave consists of two natural rock cavities adjacent to the creek, commonly referred to as "Fengliu Cave" by locals. The natural rock cave may not understand romance, but its name, Fengliu Cave, is said to originate from the custom of marriage by service in the Tsou tribe, where a man must work for three years at the woman's family home when he intends to marry her. During this period, both parties are not allowed to stray, leading couples to seek affection in this cave, making Fengliu Cave a historical witness to the unique marriage customs of the Tsou tribe!

Fengliu Cave Trail Introduction

The Fengloudong Trail (Haunted House Section) is closed, with the closure expected to last until March 31, 2026. (Tentative) By traversing the bamboo forest next to the Haunted House and descending, you can reach a small waterfall. Continuing downstream, there are a large and a small Lover's Cave in succession. The Lover's Cave refers to two adjacent natural caverns by the creek, commonly known as "Fengloudong" by locals. These natural caves are not aware of romance, but the name "Fengloudong" is said to originate from the custom of premarital work among the Tsou people. When a man intends to marry, he must work at the woman’s family for three years, during which both parties must remain faithful. Thus, lovers come to this cave to express their affection, making Fengloudong a historical witness to the unique marriage customs of the Tsou people!
