The Sacred Heart of Jesus Church is located on Provincial Highway 24 in Wutai Township. Established in 1959, it is also known as the Shenshan Catholic Church as it is situated in the Shenshan community. The church is built using local slate, and one of its most distinctive features is the human-shaped seats carved by local tribespeople, all facing to the right, which is the direction of the sunrise, symbolizing hope.
