Wutai Natural and Cultural Ecological Scenic Area Introduction
Wutai Natural and Cultural Ecological Scenic Area is the first indigenous natural and cultural ecological scenic area in the country, covering three villages: Ali, Shenshan, and Dawu, with a total area of approximately 14,352,390 square meters. The area includes attractions such as the colorful rock walls and the hidden valley of Hayu Creek in Dawu Village, the Xiaogui Lake Trail in Ali Village, and the Shenshan Waterfall in Shenshan Village, showcasing a rich diversity of natural wonders and cultural landscapes. These resources can be leveraged for recreational industry development while maintaining the environment and traditional culture. A recommended stay is about 3 hours. It is advisable to contact the Wutai Township Office for visits to each village, as entering Wutai Township requires a mountain entry permit, and the passage of large buses is prohibited.
