Dubar Male Memorial Hall Introduction

The Dubanom Memorial Hall is located in Yanban Lane, Wutai Township. Teacher Dubanom is a national treasure-level wood carving artist, and many of the carved totems of the Wutai Rukai tribe originate from his works. The memorial hall serves as an art center dedicated to preserving his creations, currently managed by his son. Outside the memorial hall, there is a "Spirit Seat," a chair only men are allowed to sit on, which is used to hang hunting knives and guns. It is important to note that women are strictly prohibited from approaching or sitting down; doing so would render the hunting knives and guns ineffective for hunting. This attraction is open only to overnight guests who must make a reservation in advance. Visitors must obtain a mountain entry permit to enter Wutai Township, and large passenger vehicles of Category A are prohibited from passing through. It is recommended to spend about 30 minutes here, and be sure to call ahead to make a reservation to avoid disappointment.
