Duban Male Memorial Hall Introduction
The Dubamen Memorial Hall is located in the Yanban Lane of Wutai Township. Teacher Dubamen is a national treasure-level wood carving artist, and many of the carved totems of the Wutai Rukai people come from his works. This art center specializes in collecting his works and is currently managed by his son. Outside the memorial hall, there is a "Spirit Seat" where only men can sit, used for hanging hunting knives and guns. It is important to note that women must not approach or sit down; violating this rule will result in the hunting knives and guns being unable to catch any game. This attraction is only open to guests who stay overnight and requires prior reservation. Entering Wutai Township requires obtaining a mountain entry permit, and large buses (Type A) are prohibited from passing through. It is recommended to stay for about 30 minutes and remember to call in advance to make a reservation to avoid disappointment.
