Sandimen Cultural Museum Introduction
The Sandimen Cultural Center is located within Zhongshan Park (opposite to the Sandimen Township Office). The site is a shrine preserved from the Japanese colonial period, designed with a slate-roof structure that showcases the local ethnic characteristics. The center gathers various local artistic creations and frequently holds themed exhibitions to promote regional cultural features and industries. The interior is divided into areas including the "Cultural Relics Exhibition Area," "Viewing Room," and "Art Exhibition Space." On the left plaza, there is a large installation art piece made of glass beads, ceramic pots, and bronze knives, while the right lawn serves as an observation deck. Visitors can enjoy a distant view of the mountains and streams within Sandimen upon ascending to the second floor of the observation deck. A suggested stay time is about 1 hour, and it should be noted that the second-floor viewing room is only open for use during relevant courses or activities related to Sandimen Township.
