Old Paiwan Village Introduction
Jiu Paiwan Village is one of the important origins of the Paiwan tribe, preserving many precious and intact slate house relics. In 2019, it won the Gold Award in the Culture and Heritage category from the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA). In recent years, it has actively developed in-depth cultural and ecological tourism, offering experiences such as traditional headdress and glass bead DIY, traditional archery, stargazing under the starry sky, slate house tours, and slate house accommodation experiences, leading visitors to gain a deeper understanding of this ancient city that has lasted for a thousand years.
