The Sicao Dazhong Temple has a history of over 200 years and serves as the worship center for fishermen in the Sicao area of An Nan District. Every year, on the 15th day of the 11th lunar month, the birthday of Admiral Zhenhai is celebrated. Visitors to this site can not only worship the Dazhong Ye for family safety but also enjoy the natural scenery of the mangrove forest behind the temple, which forms a green tunnel on the water. This area not only provides shade from the scorching sun but also blocks the cold wind, making it warm in winter and cool in summer. While slowly moving on a rubber raft, visitors may spot egrets, night herons, or other birds flying low over the banks, eliciting waves of amazement. From March to May each year, this area is also a migration period for winter migratory birds returning north, making the sky of Sicao bustling with thousands of birds in flight, creating a spectacular and unforgettable scene.
