The Sicao Da-jung Temple has a history of over 200 years and serves as a faith center for fishermen in the Sicao area of Annan District. Every year on the 15th day of the 11th lunar month, a celebration is held for the birthday of the Zhenhai Marshal. Visitors to this site not only pray to Da-jung Ye for the safety of their families, but can also enjoy the natural scenery of the mangrove area along the drainage canal behind the temple, which forms a green tunnel over the water. This not only shelters one from the scorching sun but also blocks the chilling winds, providing warmth in winter and coolness in summer. Visitors can leisurely paddle along the canal in rubber rafts, often spotting herons, night herons, and other birds flying low over the banks, resulting in exclamations of awe. From March to May each year, this area also serves as a migratory passage for wintering birds returning north, creating a spectacular sight as countless birds soar across the sky, leaving a lasting impression.
