Sicao Public Temple Introduction
The Four Sea Temple has a history of over 200 years and serves as the center of faith for fishermen in the Annan District. Every year on the 15th day of the 11th lunar month, the birthday of the Town God is celebrated. Visitors to this site can pray to the Town God for family safety. Additionally, the mangrove area behind the temple forms a natural green tunnel on the water, providing shelter from the scorching sun as well as the cold wind, resulting in a warm winter and cool summer. Floating on a rubber raft, one can leisurely move through the area where herons, night herons, and other birds often fly low overhead, producing waves of awe. From March to May each year, this area also serves as a migration period for wintering birds returning north, creating a spectacular and unforgettable scene as countless birds soar across the sky.
