四草大眾廟外觀

Sicau Dazhong Temple has a history of over two hundred years and serves as the belief center for fishermen in Annan District. Every year, the fifteenth day of the eleventh lunar month is celebrated as the birthday of Admiral Zhenhai. Visitors to this place not only pray to Dazhong Ye for family safety but also enjoy the green tunnel landscape formed by the mangrove area in the drainage canal behind the temple. This natural feature not only shields from the scorching sun but also blocks the cold winds, providing warmth in winter and coolness in summer. Floating gently on inflatable rafts, one can spot herons, night herons, and other birds flying low along the banks, eliciting waves of admiration. From March to May each year, this area also marks the migratory period for wintering birds returning north, making the sky of Sicau a spectacular sight filled with flocks of birds in flight, an unforgettable scene.

Every year on the 15th day of the 11th month in the lunar calendar, the birthday of the God of Sea is celebrated. Visitors to this location not only pray to the Dazhong Ye for family safety but also enjoy the natural red mangrove area behind the temple, which forms a green tunnel on the water. This not only provides shade from the intense sun but also blocks the cold winds, creating a warm winter and cool summer environment. Paddling slowly on a rubber raft, visitors might spot herons, night herons, or other birds flying low along the banks, eliciting waves of admiration. From March to May each year, this area is also the migration period for wintering birds returning north, making the sky over Sicao a spectacular scene filled with flocks of birds soaring, creating a truly unforgettable sight.
