Fulong Beach Introduction
Fulong Beach is a well-known attraction that you might have heard of even if you haven't visited! What you may not know is that it has been a famous bathing beach since the Japanese colonial period. A century later, it remains vibrant and bustling. The Shuangxi River flows into the sea here, making this stretch of golden sandy beach embraced by the Pacific Ocean and the Shuangxi River, creating a unique dual landscape of an inner river and the open sea, complemented by a stunning blue seawater, earning it the reputation of a golden coast. The crescent-shaped arched bridge connecting the two areas is beautifully named "Rainbow Bridge," guiding visitors to this summer paradise. In addition to the stunning bay views with azure skies, this area features a wide river surface and smooth water flow, making it perfect for water activities such as windsurfing, kayaking, and surfing. Water sports enthusiasts should not miss out on this spot. The summer season is the most exciting time here, as a series of large annual summer festivals kicks off from May: the Fulong International Sand Sculpture Art Season from May to August invites sand sculptors from various countries to intricately carve breathtaking works of art, making it suitable for family visits; between July and August, the Gongliao International Ocean Music Festival attracts music lovers from home and abroad to come and celebrate, making it the most vibrant ocean music festival of the summer, infusing the internationally renowned beach with youth and vitality!
