Fulong Beach Introduction
Fulong Beach is a popular sight that you may have heard of, even if you haven't visited! What you might not know is that it became a renowned beach as early as the Japanese occupation period and has remained vibrant throughout the years. The Shuangxi River flows into the sea here, enveloping this golden sandy beach with the Pacific Ocean and the river, creating a unique dual landscape of the inner river and outer sea, complemented by a breathtaking blue ocean view, hence its reputation as the "Golden Coast." The crescent-shaped arch bridge connecting the two areas is beautifully named the "Rainbow Bridge," guiding visitors to this summer paradise. In addition to the stunning coastal scenery, the wide river surface and calm waters make it ideal for water activities such as sailing, kayaking, and surfing, so water sports enthusiasts should not miss out. Summer is the most exciting season here, with a series of large-scale annual summer events starting in May: the Fulong International Sand Sculpture Art Festival from May to August invites sand sculptors from different countries to intricately carve breathtaking art pieces, making it suitable for family visits; from July to August, the Gongliao International Marine Music Festival attracts music lovers from home and abroad to celebrate and revel, making it the most thrilling marine music festival of the summer, infusing the internationally acclaimed beach with youth and vitality!
