Nanfangao Visitor Center Introduction
The Nan Fang Ao Tourist Center is a green building located next to the Nan Fang Ao Jin An Temple, set against a backdrop of mountains and water. This two-story structure showcases elements of fishing villages and fishing culture, reflecting local characteristics. The exhibits primarily provide information on the natural ecology, marine culture, recreational spots, and travel information for the Northeast Coast and Yilan coastal areas. Visitors can gain an in-depth understanding of the wetland ecology, fishing village culture, cold springs, and seafood delicacies here, experiencing the beauty and charm of Yilan. The Nan Fang Ao Tourist Center is a cultural space that integrates with the environment and makes good use of natural resources. It utilizes wind power generation and rainwater recycling systems while fully opening the surrounding windows to achieve natural ventilation and excellent lighting. The center is airy and bright, with a penetrating view that allows it to blend seamlessly with the coastal landscape.
