Nanfang'ao Visitor Center Introduction
The Southern Ocean Visitor Center is a green building located next to the Jin'an Temple in Nanfang'ao, surrounded by mountains and water. This two-story structure showcases various elements of fishing villages and fishing culture, reflecting the local特色. The exhibits mainly provide information about the natural ecology, marine culture, recreational attractions, and tourism information of the Northeast Coast and Yilan coastline, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the wetland ecology, fishing village culture, cold springs, and seafood delicacies, as well as experiencing the beauty and emotions of Yilan. The Southern Ocean Visitor Center is a cultural space that integrates with the environment and makes good use of natural resources. It employs wind power generation and rainwater recycling systems, and it features open windows all around to achieve natural ventilation and good lighting. The visitor center is airy and bright, with a sense of transparency, allowing visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery outside, blending seamlessly with the coastal landscape.
