Wanglaikeng Pineapple Culture Park Introduction
Wanglai Mountain Pineapple Cultural Park is located near National Chung Cheng University in Chiayi. The name Wanglai Mountain comes from a place in Minxiong known for producing pineapples, and it is named in Taiwanese as Wanglai (Pineapple) Mountain. The theme of the park is primarily focused on the pineapple cake produced in Minxiong, providing tourists with an opportunity to tour the factory, which offers free hot tea and pineapple cakes for visitors to taste. Wanglai Mountain's Tainan pineapple cake is made using pineapples grown by a recognized expert who has received the Shennong Award and GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) certification. The pineapples are harvested on-site to make the filling, while the outer crust is made from local free-range chicken eggs, Japanese artisan flour, imported European milk powder, and French premium butter.
