East Asian Palm Lake Golf Course Introduction
Since its groundbreaking in 1987, the golf course was completed and opened after five years. Located at the foot of Ali Mountain, the Palm Lake Resort, built by Toyo Enterprises, is a comprehensive resort that combines golf, dining, accommodation, and leisure spa services. The swaying coconut palms, areca palms, wooden cabins, and staff dressed in Hawaiian shirts exude a strong tropical vibe. The 18-hole course, designed by famous Japanese designer Shunsuke Kato, has a par of 72 and a total length of 7,064 yards. The designer cleverly utilizes sand traps, water hazards, and the undulating terrain to create a uniquely styled and highly challenging championship course. In addition, the use of Bermuda grass on the greens provides better ball-stopping ability, smoothness, and green speed compared to other domestic courses. In addition to the outstanding 18-hole course, the lodge, constructed from natural wood, though small, radiates a relaxing resort atmosphere and is equipped with all necessary facilities. The Phoenix Restaurant on the second floor offers exquisite Hong Kong and Taiwanese cuisine. Furthermore, the imported hardwood vacation cabins emit a natural aroma, embodying the exquisite style of an international four-season hotel. Also newly completed is the Tropical Island Water World, spanning three thousand ping and designed by international design master Stephen, transplanting the tropical essence of Hawaii to provide the best aquatic fun for the whole family.
