East Asian Palm Lake Golf Club Introduction
Since its construction began in 1987 and took five years to complete, the first golf course was inaugurated. Located at the foot of Alishan, the Palm Lake Resort, built by Toyo Enterprises, is a comprehensive resort that combines golf, dining, accommodation, and leisure SPA. The swaying coconut palms, palm trees, wooden cabins, and staff dressed in Hawaiian shirts exude a strong tropical flavor. The 18-hole course, designed by the renowned Japanese designer Shunsuke Kato, features a par of 72 and a total length of 7064 yards. The designer skillfully utilizes bunkers, ponds, and undulating terrains to create a uniquely challenging championship course. Additionally, the greens planted with bentgrass offer better ball-stopping ability, smoothness, and speed compared to other courses in the country. Apart from the outstanding 18-hole course, the small wooden clubhouse radiates a relaxed vacation atmosphere, equipped with all necessary amenities. The second-floor Fenghuang Xuan restaurant offers exquisite Cantonese and Taiwanese cuisine. Moreover, the fragrant vacation cabins constructed from imported fragrant wood emanate the essence of nature, showcasing a refined style reminiscent of foreign four-season hotels. Newly completed, the tropical island water park, spanning over 3000 ping, was designed by the international design master Stephen, replicating the tropical atmosphere of Hawaii, providing the best water play area for the whole family.
