Oriental Palm Golf Club Introduction
Since construction began in 1987 and took five years to complete, the golf course was the first to be opened. Located at the foot of Alishan, the Palm Lake Resort, created by Tōyō Enterprise, is a comprehensive resort that combines golf, dining, accommodation, and leisure spa services. The swaying coconut and palm trees, quaint cabins, and staff dressed in Hawaiian shirts exude a strong tropical flavor. The eighteen-hole course, designed by renowned Japanese designer Shunsuke Kato, is a par 72, stretching a total of 7,064 yards. The designer cleverly utilizes bunkers, water hazards, and the undulating terrain to create a unique and challenging championship course with distinct style. Additionally, the greens planted with Bentgrass provide superior ball stoppage, smoothness, and speed compared to other courses in the country. In addition to the outstanding eighteen-hole course, the small wooden clubhouse exudes a relaxed vacation atmosphere, fully equipped with amenities. The Phoenix Restaurant on the second floor offers exquisite Hong Kong and Taiwanese cuisine. Furthermore, the imported aromatic wood-built resort cabins exude the natural aroma of phytoncide, showcasing the refined style of international resorts. Newly constructed, the expansive 3,000 ping tropical island water park, designed by international master Stephen, brings the tropical Hawaiian ambiance to life, offering an ideal water play area for families.
