Qianyao Leisure Pottery Workshop Introduction
In 1991, three brothers from a farming family in Zhuangnei decided to set up their art studio in their hometown, returning to a village that once had brick kilns. The second brother, Hou Chun-Ting, graduated from National Cultural University and possesses formal education along with over 20 years of practical experience. He has created hundreds of works that not only include traditional ceramics but also incorporate lifestyle pottery and Western styles, showcasing a tremendous creative output. He has won numerous national Yeh Wang Awards and has achieved excellent results in various competitions. His public art works include groundbreaking projects such as a giant mural in the Alishan Scenic Area and public art seating at the Yingge Ceramics Museum.
