Bisha Fishing Port Introduction
Bisha Fishing Port was originally part of Badouzi Fishing Port and has gradually developed into a leisure fishing port in response to the booming tourism industry in recent years. In 1989, the first demonstration fish direct selling center in Taiwan was established here, which is well-planned. Visitors can choose from a wide range of fresh seafood, particularly crabs in early autumn, which rival the quality of China's hairy crabs and are a favorite among food enthusiasts. In addition to the direct selling center, there are several seafood restaurants nearby, creating a food street specializing in fresh seafood. The various fresh catches displayed at the restaurant entrances are mouth-watering, and the variety of dishes makes it a great place to indulge in delicious food. Tourists can also select live seafood from the tanks and have it cooked on-site by the restaurant chefs, or bring in seafood purchased from the direct selling center to be prepared. The aromas of the dishes are truly remarkable. Adjacent to Bisha Fishing Port, there are large recreational green spaces for family activities. On one end of the open area is the Bisha Ocean Leisure Pavilion, where visitors can enjoy coffee while appreciating the stunning sea and sky views. They can also take a blue highway sightseeing boat to explore the beautiful ocean scenery, including activities around Keelung Island. At the entrance of Bisha Fishing Port, a prominent fishing research vessel, the Hai Gong Hao, retired from the Fisheries Research Institute, is displayed. It is Taiwan's first deep-sea research fishing boat that ventured to the polar regions. Although it shows signs of aging, it still exudes a heroic charm. Bisha Fishing Port has now been transformed into a yacht harbor, with a newly planned food street that gives the entire area a fresh new look. Visitors can enjoy dining while also cruising along the blue highway, experiencing the unique feeling of being surrounded by the sea, with the salty sea breeze adding to the delightful atmosphere.
