Bisha Fishing Port Introduction
Bisha Fishing Port was originally part of Badouzi Fishing Port. With the flourishing tourism industry in recent years, it has gradually developed into a recreational fishing port. In 1989, the first national demonstration fishery direct sales center was established here, with comprehensive planning. Visitors can choose from a wide variety of seafood, with fresh catches guaranteed, especially crabs in early autumn, which rival the quality of China's hairy crabs and are a favorite among gourmets. Additionally, next to the Bisha fishing port direct sales center, there are several seafood stir-fry restaurants, forming a food street specializing in fresh seafood, with an array of fresh catches outside the storefronts making one's mouth water. The various dishes offered make it the best place to satisfy your palate. Tourists can select live seafood from tanks and have it cooked on-site by restaurant chefs, or they can bring seafood purchased from the direct sales center to the restaurant for cooking, resulting in delicious dishes that are highly praised. Adjacent to Bisha Fishing Port, there are spacious recreational green areas for family activities. At the other end of this open space is the Bisha Ocean Pavilion, where visitors can enjoy coffee, admire the sea and sky scenery, and take a scenic boat ride on the Blue Highway to appreciate the beautiful coastal views, including around Keelung Island and various island activities. At the entrance of Bisha Fishing Port, there is a prominent fisheries testing vessel, the "Hai Gong," retired from the Fisheries Research Institute, which is Taiwan's first deep-sea research fishing vessel that ventured to the polar regions. Although it shows signs of age, it evokes a sense of heroic history and spirit. Bisha Fishing Port has currently been transformed into a yacht harbor, with a newly established food street. After the re-planning of the flow, Bisha Fishing Port now presents a brand-new look, allowing visitors to enjoy gourmet food while cruising along the blue highway, surrounded by the sea, with the salty sea breeze adding to the delightful experience. ※ There are accessible restrooms available.
