Lanhua is located on the right side of Xiaojing Village. It is transformed from the second largest water conservancy project in Kinmen, the Lanhlin Reservoir, originally built to provide irrigation and drinking water for the Qionglin and Zhonglan areas. It was completed in 1968 and has a water extraction area of 125 hectares.
