Lan Lake Introduction
Lanhu is located on the right side of Xiaojing Village and is transformed from the second largest hydraulic engineering project in Kinmen, the Lanlin Reservoir. It was originally built to provide irrigation and drinking water needs for the Qionglin and Zhonglan areas and was completed in 1968, covering a water intake area of 125 hectares. There is a stone path along the lakeshore connecting to a small island in the lake, which features a classical and exquisite Lanting built of green tiles and white pillars. A zigzag wooden bridge connects the small island to the shore. The scenic surroundings of Lanhu are pleasant, with captivating lake and mountain views. Strolling along the lakeside or resting at Lanting are great ways for visitors to enjoy a romantic atmosphere.
