Lanhu Lake Introduction
Lanhu is located on the right side of Xiaojing Village and is transformed from the second largest water conservancy project in Kinmen, the Lanlin Reservoir. It was originally built to provide irrigation and drinking water for the Qionglin and Zhonglan areas, and was completed in 1968, with an area capable of drawing water of 125 hectares. A stone path connects the lakeside to an island in the lake, which features a classical and exquisite Lanting pavilion built with green tiles and white columns. It is connected to the shore by a winding wooden bridge. The scenic views surrounding Lanhu are delightful, with beautiful lake and mountain scenery that captivates visitors. Strolling along the lake or resting at the Lanting pavilion are great ways for tourists to enjoy the romantic atmosphere.
