Qonglin Civil Defense Museum Introduction
Qionglin Village was one of the villages that assisted the military during the War of Resistance, with the village office serving as part of the command center. After the war, descendants built the Qionglin Battle Exhibition Hall to commemorate the past and help the public better understand the historical legacy of the war. Within the exhibition hall, there is a 1,355-meter-long underground tunnel that was expanded and upgraded starting in 1976 to enhance civil defense works. The village office serves as the central defense, with the tunnel extending to the north and south. It also houses command posts and connects to air raid shelters, bunkers, and tunnels leading to private residences. Today, the Qionglin Tunnel has become a popular tourist attraction. A sign and the Qionglin Wind Lion God statue now stand at the exit to ward off potential evil and strong winds. The facilities include accessible restrooms, accessible ramps, and accessible parking spaces.
