Qionglin Civil Defense Museum Introduction
Qionglin Village was one of the villages that assisted the military during the War of Resistance, and the village office served as part of the command center during the operation. After the war, the descendants built the Qionglin Battle Exhibition Hall to commemorate the past and help the public better understand the historical events left by the war. Inside the exhibition hall, there is a 1,355-meter-long underground tunnel, which was expanded and upgraded starting in 1976 to enhance civil defense facilities. The village office serves as the central defense, with the tunnel extending to the north and south. It also includes designated air-raid shelters, bunkers, and tunnels connecting private residences. Today, the Qionglin Tunnel has become a popular tourist attraction. A statue of the Qionglin Wind Lion God now stands at the exit as a guardian against potential evil and strong winds. Accessible facilities include accessible restrooms, ramps, and parking spaces.
