Qionglin Civil Defense Museum Introduction
Qionglin Village was one of the villages that assisted the military during the wartime, with its village office serving as part of the command center. After the war ended, the later generations sought to commemorate this history and help the public better understand the historical remnants of the war, leading to the construction of the Qionglin Battle Museum. Inside the museum, there is a 1,355-meter-long underground tunnel, which was expanded and upgraded starting in 1976 to enhance civil defense works. The village office served as the central defense, with the tunnel extending to the north and south. The underground facility also included command posts, air raid shelters, bunkers, and tunnels connecting private residences. Today, the Qionglin Tunnel has become a popular tourist attraction. A sign now stands at the exit, with the Qionglin Wind Lion God statue erected to ward off potential evil and strong winds. Accessible facilities include accessible restrooms, ramps, and parking spaces.
