Qionglin Civil Defense Museum Introduction
Qionglin Village was one of the villages that assisted the military during the war, and thus the village office was part of the command center for combat operations. After the war, later generations built the Qionglin Battle Exhibition Hall to commemorate the event and to help the public better understand the historical legacy left by the war. Inside the exhibition hall, there is an underground tunnel that measures 1,355 meters in length, which was expanded and upgraded starting in 1976 to enhance civil defense structures. The village office served as the central point of defense, with the tunnel extending to the north and south. It also includes a command post connected to air raid shelters, bunkers, and tunnels leading to private residences. Today, the Qionglin Tunnel has become a popular tourist attraction. A sign now stands at the exit, featuring the Qionglin Wind Lion God statue, symbolizing the protection against potential evil and strong winds. Accessible facilities include accessible restrooms, ramps, and parking spaces.
