Wuqiteng Introduction
Wuqitai is located alongside the road between Mount Taiwu and the Tomb of Lu Wang. It is a hexagonal pavilion with green tiles and red pillars. The name Wuqitai conveys a message to military comrades to emulate the spirit of Wen Tianxiang and to be individuals who are worthy of heaven, earth, and their parents, standing tall and upright. Inside the pavilion stands a marble monument, with the front engraved with the teachings of the Father of the Nation, "Military Spirit Education," written by Mr. Zong Xiaocheng. The back features an inscription by Zhang Mojun, "Confucius said to achieve righteousness, and Mengzi said to seek justice; only when righteousness is fulfilled can benevolence be attained. What is the purpose of studying the classics? From now on, let there be no shame." This explains the significance of the Wuqitai's name.
