Wuqiteng Introduction

"Wu Kui Pavilion" is located beside the road between Mount Taiwu and the Tomb of Lu Wang. It is a hexagonal pavilion with green tiles and red columns. The name Wu Kui Pavilion is meant to remind military comrades to embody the spirit of Wen Tianxiang, becoming individuals who are worthy of the heavens and earth, as well as their parents. Inside the pavilion stands a marble monument, with the front side engraved with the words of Mr. Zong Xiaocheng: "The teachings of the Father of the Nation on military spirit education." The back is inscribed with the words of Zhang Mojun: "Confucius said to achieve righteousness, and Mencius said to pursue justice; only by fully pursuing righteousness can one achieve true benevolence. What is the purpose of studying the writings of sages? From now on, may one strive to remain unashamed." This explains the significance of the name Wu Kui Pavilion.
