Sky Lounge Introduction
The Sky Hall is located in the heart of Mount Taiwu, measuring 60 meters in length, 18 meters in width, and 11 meters in height. It is a spacious hall capable of accommodating thousands of people. It was carved out of the mountainside by drilling holes, inserting explosives, and then manually excavating. The walls display traces of excavation and rock textures, creating a stunning natural beauty. The Sky Hall is connected to other tunnels and was once used as a medical shelter as well as a command center during combat. During wartime, Kinmen nearly completely undergrounded all defense facilities and combat points, linking them with underground tunnels. In response to military needs, various spaces were created, and the extent of this network nearly reaches all parts of the main island, earning it the nickname "Underground Kinmen."
