Sky Lounge Introduction
The Qingtian Hall is located in the heart of Mount Taiwu. It measures 60 meters in length, 18 meters in width, and 11 meters in height, making it a spacious hall capable of accommodating thousands of people. It was carved into the mountain wall, where explosives were buried and then manually excavated. The walls bear traces of the excavation and rock textures, creating a spectacular natural scenery. Qingtian Hall is connected to other tunnels and was once used as a medical shelter and operational hub. During the war, almost all defensive facilities and combat points in Kinmen were underground, interconnected by tunnels, creating various spaces to meet military needs. Its extensive reach almost covers the entire main island, forming a vast underground network, which is known as "Underground Kinmen."
