Heavenly Lounge Introduction
The Chastity Hall is located in the heart of Mount Taiwu, measuring 60 meters long, 18 meters wide, and 11 meters high. It is a spacious hall that can accommodate thousands of people. It was carved out by drilling into the mountain wall, using explosives, and then manually excavated. The walls show traces of the excavation and rock textures, presenting a spectacular natural scenery. The Chastity Hall is connected to other tunnels and was once used as a medical shelter and a command center during combat. During the wartime, Kinmen nearly underground all defensive facilities and combat points, connecting them with underground tunnels to meet military needs, creating various spaces. Its extension almost reaches all parts of the main island, forming a vast underground network, often referred to as the "Underground Kinmen."
