Sky Lounge Introduction
The Qingtian Hall is located in the interior of Mount Taiwu, measuring 60 meters in length, 18 meters in width, and 11 meters in height. It is a spacious hall that can accommodate over a thousand people. It was excavated by drilling into the mountain wall, followed by the use of explosives, and then manually excavated. The walls show traces of excavation and rock textures, creating a spectacular natural scenery. Qingtian Hall is connected to other tunnels and was once used as a medical shelter as well as a command center during combat. During the war, most of the defensive facilities and combat points in Kinmen were built underground and interconnected with tunnels, creating various spaces to meet military needs. The extensive network nearly reaches all parts of the main island, earning it the nickname "Underground Kinmen."
