Stone Rabbit Introduction
The Ta Wu Mountain Trail is flanked by towering rocks, shaped by the wonders of nature, often revealing boulders resembling animals. For instance, about 150 meters from the bronze statue of Liu Yu-Chang, there is an amusing scene of "The Tortoise and the Hare" on both sides of the trail. On the left side, a giant rock resembling a tortoise lies slowly creeping among the wild grass, with its "eyes" being remnants from a drill used during the road construction. On the right side, beside the trees, stands a stone hare with a strikingly lifelike appearance that brings a smile to onlookers.
