Fuyuan Tea Factory Introduction
Fu Yuan Tea Factory has a history of over 90 years. Established during the Japanese occupation, the founder began purchasing tea leaves from tea farmers, which were then sent to a refining factory in Dihua Street for processing before being sold worldwide through foreign trading companies and Japanese commercial firms. In 1949, the founder established the factory, transforming small-scale production into large-scale operations, which continues to this day. The factory has witnessed the rise and fall of Taiwan's tea industry. Tea embodies the spirit of the people of Taiwan, and it prompts reflection on the need to take time to appreciate local culture and nurture one's inner self while reminiscing about the past eras of southern sugar and northern tea. At Fu Yuan, you can explore Taiwanese tea and embark on a journey through tea country. The factory offers the "Ruby" black tea made from Taiwan Tea No. 18, the Oriental Beauty tea made according to traditional methods, and Sour Lime tea, as well as CTC black tea, which cannot be found elsewhere.
