Established in 1987 in Yangmei Township, the restaurant is recognized for its unique method of processing goose meat and its special sauces. It features signature dishes such as specially-prepared goose and Hakka braised bamboo shoots, earning a bright reputation! The authentic Hakka flavors have also been acknowledged by the Hakka Affairs Council, and the restaurant has been invited to participate in Taiwan’s food exhibitions multiple times! In 1995, a branch was established by Longtan Lake, offering a high-end, refined Hakka dining experience. It is a traditional restaurant that combines diverse Hakka cuisines, making it a must-visit for tourists in Longtan. The Longtan location is three stories high, but internally it is divided into two levels, providing a spacious and pressure-free atmosphere. Positioned right by Longtan Lake, which resembles a small West Lake in Taiwan, it offers a premium dining environment. The restaurant is very bright, with elegant interior decorations. Dayangmei Goose House has three signature treasures that have remained popular over the years: the must-try dishes for every visitor are the signature goose meat, rice noodles, and Hakka braised bamboo shoots. The signature farm-raised goose meat is regarded as the restaurant’s treasure, using carefully selected geese aged 90 to 100 days, cooked in a unique way to ensure tender and juicy meat, complemented by a special Hakka orange sauce.
