Dayangmei Goose Restaurant - Longtan Branch Introduction
Recommended dishes: Hakka Rice Noodles and Hakka Village Goose. Established in 1987 in Yangmei Township, this restaurant is widely recognized for its unique preparation methods and sauces for goose meat. With its signature goose and Hakka-style Braised Bamboo Shoots, it has gained a strong reputation! The authentic Hakka flavors have also been acknowledged by the Hakka Affairs Council, and the restaurant has been invited multiple times to participate in Taiwan Food Exhibitions! In 1995, a branch was opened by Longtan Dajhu, featuring a high and elegant design typical of Hakka restaurants. It is a must-visit restaurant for tourists in Longtan, offering traditional and diverse Hakka cuisine. The Longtan branch is three stories high, but the interior is divided into two floors, providing high ceilings that create a comfortable environment for diners, especially with its location by Longtan Dajhu, akin to a small West Lake in Taiwan, offering an excellent dining setting. The restaurant is very bright and decorated in a simple yet elegant style. Dayuan Mei Goose Restaurant has three signature dishes that have stood the test of time and are nearly must-orders for every guest, with the highest ordering rates: the signature goose, rice noodles, and Hakka Braised Bamboo Shoots. The signature free-range goose is considered the treasure of the restaurant, made from carefully selected geese that are 90 to 100 days old, prepared in a unique way that results in tender and juicy meat, complemented by a special Hakka tangerine sauce.
