Chuanjiating Restaurant Introduction

Chuan Jia is located on Guangfu Road in Hsinchu, near the Amba Hotel. Having been in operation for over ten years, it has always adhered to the philosophy of providing customers with a warm feeling as if they were dining at home, embodying the traditional Hakka spirit. The Hakka free-range chicken is carefully selected from local mountain-raised chickens that are fed corn and wild vegetables for six months, resulting in tender and sweet meat without any feed taste, best served with Hakka kumquat sauce. The braised pork belly is made from high-quality pork belly that is boiled in hot water for 30 minutes, then soaked in soy sauce for color, fried, and finally soaked in ice water to remove excess grease and enhance its chewiness, served with preserved mustard greens for a refreshing flavor. The ginger shredded large intestine is made from black-haired pig intestines, which should be clean and shiny. The intestines are pre-washed with flour, vinegar, and salad oil to ensure purity, leaving some fat for flavor—too much makes it greasy, while too little lacks aroma.
