Chuan Jia Living Restaurant Introduction

Chuan Jia is located on Guangfu Road in Hsinchu, near the Palais de Chine Hotel. It has been operating for over a decade, always adhering to the notion of providing customers with a warm feeling as if they were dining at home, embodying the traditional Hakka spirit of hospitality. The Hakka native chicken is carefully selected from local free-range breeds that are raised for six months on a diet of corn and wild vegetables, resulting in tender, sweet meat with a firm texture and no feed flavor, served with Hakka kumquat sauce. The stewed pork belly is made from high-quality pork belly boiled in hot water for 30 minutes, cooled slightly, soaked in soy sauce for color, then fried, and finally immersed in ice water to remove excess fat and enhance the chewiness, served with preserved mustard greens for a refreshing and non-greasy taste. The stir-fried pig intestines are made from black-haired pigs, which are required to be clean and shiny. The intestines are pre-washed with flour, vinegar, and salad oil, keeping some fat for flavor; too much fat can be greasy, while too little can lack fragrance.
