Chuan Jia Life Bistro Introduction

Chuan Jia is located on Guangfu Road in Hsinchu, near the Hotel Royal. With over a decade of operation, it has always maintained a warm and homely feeling for customers, embodying the traditional Hakka spirit of hospitality. The Hakka free-range chicken is carefully selected, using local free-range chickens that are raised on the hills for six months, fed with corn and wild vegetables. The meat is fresh, sweet, and firm, without any feed taste, and is best enjoyed with Hakka kumquat sauce. The braised pork belly is made from high-quality pork belly, boiled in hot water for 30 minutes, then cooled down and soaked in soy sauce for color. It is then fried and cooled in ice water, which helps to remove excess fat and enhance the chewy texture. Finally, it is paired with preserved mustard greens for a refreshing and non-greasy taste. The stir-fried intestines use black-haired pig intestines, which should have a clean and shiny appearance. They are pre-washed with flour, vinegar, and salad oil, leaving some fat for flavor, as too much can be greasy while too little may not be fragrant.
