Blake Garden Cafe Introduction
"Black Garden Coffee" is transformed from a typical residence. In addition to the indoor dining area, there is an outdoor dining space upon entering the main entrance, designed with a garden concept to create a relaxing atmosphere for consumers. The shop's name comes from the owner's nickname "Little Black" and its relation to coffee, which is associated with the color "black," hence the name "Black Garden Coffee." Established in May 2001, the owner was originally a manager and factory director at Nestlé. Due to certain circumstances, he left Nestlé and independently opened a café near the interchange at Hukou Industrial Zone on Guangfu Road. The café not only sells coffee beans but also offers meals. Because it is close to the Hukou Industrial Zone, the number of diners during lunchtime from Monday to Friday is very high, but the serving speed is very fast, resulting in a short wait time for consumers. The prices are affordable, including soup, main dishes, side dishes, and after-meal drinks, making it a great spot for the general public and office workers to gather. In 2002, the café was featured in an interview by Vision Magazine, and in 2003, Public Television also came to report on it. It is the largest coffee bean roasting factory in Taiwan, which guarantees that the most professional and freshest coffee is available at Black Garden.
