The owner was originally from a Hakka family in Xinyu engaged in the food service industry. She learned many Hakka dishes from a young age and, after marrying in Hsinchu, opened this restaurant with her husband. In addition to Hakka cuisine, they are also famous for their online-shipped cold braised dishes.
